When Harden takes 3s and makes he gets the glory and when he misses he better be able to be mature and take the blame. 0-10 on 3's is just brain dead. How many times are we going to hear Mch and others talk about "sticky" and play the right way night in and night out.
Mch better go liquor up and go put his foot in Black Amish's ass and get him to play the right way.
These losses to teams with less talent is going to bite us in the ass. It could be the difference between being at home in the 1st round or having to go on the road.
Guess Linsanity, Prettyboy, and Turkeyboy may not be stars but atleast I can say they never dog it.

I would 'trade' McHale before even thinking about trading Harden. Melo is a crybaby with no leadership and no heart, he is what we are afraid Harden might turn into if this keeps going on. Do not want.

harden needs to work on bball 101, Shooting off screens, driving left AND right, shuffling feet on defense , midrange buckets, using the glass when shooting, and anticipation on defense. It seems he never developed alot of basic skills while in OKC. This is why a real coach is needed to expand his game

Agreed. Somebody needs to say something. Everybody sees it. We as the fans see it and complain. He has every right to speak on it. This is a real issue. That said, I sometimes look at him and he doesn't look like he is playing as hard as he can either. I wish he would come out and set better screens like Omer. That would really open up his game more and get the team into a better rhythm and then he can try some of those post ups that he likes to do.

Superman has risen. I'm glad he spoke up, they should of went to Dwight all night, instead they try to out-shoot the Suns. It is about matchup and the Suns didn't have a center like ours. Harden just needs to play committed at all times, play the right way, not the acting way. I don't know how many 3s he shoots that he falls down, it is becoming like an art to him and it is ugly. We didn't lose to the Suns, Harden gave it to the Suns.

    this summer here
    - Harden needs the ball in his hands as the primary ball handler
-harden needs a spot up shooter to be in the backcourt with him
-Howard & harden pick and roll will be deadly

    ¼ into the season here
-harden & Howards effort needs to change
-howard doesn’t set screens or run pick and roll
    -ball gets too sticky
    -we won’t win with harden

*not talking to everyone* but don’t jump off the bandwagon when the going gets tuff, stand by your words. People were very clear this summer this was going to to be the key to the rockets success & if people thought otherwise, that person was clearly wrong, crazy, didn’t know bball, or often called a ONLY fan & not a rockets fan.

Problem is it is rather apparent that using Harden as the starting point guard is not going to work. Guy has a scorer's mentality.

Questionable leadership, but he's no cry baby. HE's been front and center saying the Knicks are a joke, he called them "a laughing stocK' yesterday. At least he's willing to step up and admit things are screwed up. Harden isnt man enough to face the cameras and just goes on home and says 'ehhh you guys answer the questions.'

I don´t know if it is a good thing or bad thing.

But no media attention. I remember when SAS and Skip bayless went off on Harden last year in the OKC series he came out the next game and practically didn´t miss a shot.

I knew you were not arguing. I was just pointing out that maybe the whole "fit" thing was wrongheaded. It focused on who would fit Harden's game, as if Harden does not need to do anything different to improve the team. The assumption seemed to be, if everybody else fit Hardens' game, the team would be great.

Perhaps the right question should be, how does EVERYBODY, INCLUDING HARDEN, fit each of their roles for the benefit of the whole TEAM.

Totally correct. I love Bev's energy and I love how he is the first guy jumping off the bench when his teammates score a big bucket. And I still think the best way to utilize him is to bring him in off the bench to cool someone off and disrupt their game- like the Cooler. And yes, at least Brooks is a better point guard too and you can see it in the mini runs we made yesterday when he handled the ball. Harden needs to accept that he's the shooting guard, plain and simple. Kobe can do it, Jordan it did and Harden can be successful at it too.

I think that if that was the plan it was the wrong plan. We would've been better served by signing a defensive minded SG to start along with Harden if that was the case. At least, then we would have more size and still get the defensive that Beverly brings us.

Yes. I argue with my friend about this almost daily b/c he feels like the fact that Harden is our superstar, then he shouldn't have to change his game. We need to adapt to him. He thinks that Harden is taking the right amount of shots and doesn't need to let his teammates take some of the scoring load off of him too. That's completely wrong. Jordan, Lebron and to some extent Kobe, all had to change their game and learn to trust their teammates more before they won it all. These guys could drop 50 points a game if they wanted to but by sharing the ball more and getting everyone involved, the team improves as a whole which equates to more wins.

I'm not sure your grasping the bigger prespective on his comments. He may not be playing his best basketball, but Dwight has been a workhorse for us. He has his flaws too like everybody. But what he's saying is our team isnt collectively putting out a consistent effort. Which is 100% true. If Dwight goes 0-10 but gives his all doing so, then it's still acceptable.

Another point to consider in the after math of Dwight complaining about effort of teammates , I'm sure over the years especially in recent years, his teammates have wanted to complain and voice their frustration on him being a liability down the stretch when he can't make free throws. I will give him credit for improving recently with his free throw but my point and message to Dwight is....Dwight, stop b****ing to the media and go out on the court and do most of your talking. This is a pattern with Dwight now, when the going gets tough, he starts b****ing to the media and throwing teammates and coaches under the bus, that's why his rep has gone down over recent years.

Hell yeah. You can say what you want about whether or not he will ever be "2010" Dwight again... but he has the right to call out his teammates when they're not hustling. Honestly Dwight did hustle in Phoenix. He did put in work on the boards... shot well from the FT line. I've got no problem with this at all.

Agreed. Dwight had 15 pts and 18 Rebs. He wasn't the problem last night. Would've been nice to see some more blocks from Howard in the last few games but he changes so many shots that the net result is similar.
