haha that DUDE is so high! Bev got burned consistently on pick and rolls. His turnover comment was hilarious, when you're not making plays for others, or driving to the hoop, of course you're not going to turn the ball over. 5 straight games shooting 40% or under. If he was a role player it wouldnt even be a bright spot, much less a starter.
LOL wonderful job?? They shot 11-28 combined for 28pts....that's terrible in my standard. I would seriously consider rotating the subs around with either Lin or AB start and Bev coming off the bench. Bev isn't much of a pest defender anymore playing 35mins a game...he just doesn't have the energy to keep it up all game. His defensive mode is much more effective coming of the bench where he doesn't have to worry about getting into foul troubles or playing excessive mins.
Because Lin is good. Time for CF to finally admit that. As many Lin followers know, he can raise the level of players around him and turn them into a team and that's what he did. It helps that there shots were falling in that game too and he had a good chemistry with Smith.
This is the first game I haven't watched since start of preseason, so (unlike some posters) I will refrain from making specific comments about a game I didn't see. I will make these notes: 1. Very glad I sold my tickets to tonight's game. 2. Also very glad I sold my tickets to Friday's game vs. GSW. Should be humiliating. 3. Not surprised at all by the result. I figured we'd slide into a losing streak when Chandler went down, aaaaaaaaaand here we go. If he's out for any significant length of time, we're screwed. 4. With the Nuggets and Blazers showing up out of nowhere (please check DEN's record, if you haven't recently), I have a sinking feeling we might be battling for a playoff spot if we keep up this kind of play, or lack thereof.
Remember when Howard was joking about Texans needing a QB when Schaub was throwing pick six's...I think we need another Center only 14 pts and your the most dominate center in the league RIGHT!!!!
I have a hunch Morey just doesn't want to let western conference teams tank, so he's willing to let McHale blow some games to reduce their pingpong balls. /tinfoil
Hey Howard and Harden have said it over and over again this is their team... lol and they should take the blame meanwhile I can't wait for Lin and Parsons to come back
What have I done to get called names. I'm just cheering one of my favorite players and quoting the actual stats. I'm i gonna get banned for cheer for Bev, a Rockets player btw if you didn't notice and posting the actual game stats. So what exactly I'm i doing wrong in your eyes? Please by all means let me know. I'm I cheering the Rox and my favorite player little too much for your liking? I didn't know cheering for the Rockets and rockets players was a ban worthy offense on Clutchfans. Enough of this bunk if you don't mind I would like to get back to talking about Rockets basketball and game stats. Thank you. Geeez. Well rebound against Golden State gonna e fun watching Bev and Curry go at it! Go Rox!
Ummmmm, Thanks? That's pretty much exactly what I'm saying. Beverly is a good hustle/pesky defender off the bench. Shouldn't be starting.

Guys, the word is "dominant." "Dominate" is a verb. You can dominate something, but you cannot be dominate. "Most DOMINANT center in the league." Sorry, but that drives me effing crazy.

Beverley is playing well. He's playing consistent defense, PnR is designed to slow down good PG defenders and it does Patrick but Patrick is consistently rebounding and all but the best guards are contained reasonably. He gets his rebounds, he is very solid and safe well when he handles the ball and that's his game, he gets steals and he knocks down some shots. He's not a miracle worker who is going to contain the best of the best PGs and sometimes a hot PG will do OK against him but he's putting in the effort. He's also fixed his foul prone problems. I'd rather Lin start but Pat is doing what he's supposed to do. I like what Pat is bringing every game and he's fun to watch. He plays hard and with heart and hustle. McHale put him in the starting lineup and he's playing his game and adjusting to getting more minutes well.
