Are Harden's off court activities hurting his play?

    It's more than that though. If he just played bad and gave good effort that'd be okay. He's just not giving the effort though and that is a problem. He's done it before. Certainly in the Clippers game earlier this year. He gives crap effort on offense when he doesn't have the ball and on defense pretty regularly. How else does PJ Tucker outscore Harden?

    I can only watch George with my wistful eyes. How I wish Harden would improve his game like him.

    George went from offensive liability to #1 option on a contending team in two seasons!

    On the other hand.....Harden is Haren with no offensive skills added whatsoever.

    Is he making an effort to improve his game or is he coasting? I'm not expecting Kobe levels of dedication and intensity, but I can't stomach T-Mac 2.0, either. To be blunt, if Harden is mailing it in, bench his ass.

    Harden seriously has zero NBA discipline...he seriously is going the route of stars that dont listen to anyone and just chuck(ie Melo, Arenas). Harden really needs a coach that isnt afraid of standing up to him. And Howard cant really call him out, bc his offensive game is a total liability. There were so many times during that last stretch the offense didnt even wanna include him on the possession...Caspi at the top of the arc looked away from Harden and kept looking to Beverly and Brooks. Harden has to understand that in order for him to really be considered a superstar, he must play ball on both sides. He is a terrible P/R defender and seriously looks like he's stuck in quick sand. He zones out on his player/assignment. He rarely fights over the screens and forces Dwight to come out to guard the perimeter. Teams have repeatedly targeted Harden on the defensive end, knowing that points at the rim or wide open jumpers can be had if you force Harden to rotate. If he is this bad, they should consider playing 2/3 zone on defense.

    Only Beverly plays consistent DEFENSE and only Harden plays consistent NO DEFENSE. Why we are blaming Harden? Because he get paid 20M a year! Because he is supposed to be the leader of this team,both on offense end and DEFENSE end .Because he plays with no intensity. just when we are coming within 2 points and he turnovers.
    If you don't expect a championship. Fine, this team is enjoyable and a playoff contender, but this is as far as they can get.

    That can not be a strip club in H-Town. H-Town has the best strip clubs around. Back in the day Colorado was a happening place.
