Howard at least rebounds and plays some defense when he's out there. Harden looks like he's tanking on purpose
They sure like benching Lin when the role players play well. When the role players outplay howard and harden, harden and Howard come right back in
Parsons is the heart and soul of this team. I would sit harden and whoever doesnt play defense on the bench to prove a point.
I think even McHale realizes that Beverley can't defend screenplays. They are switching on every screenplay against Beverley, and it's bitten us in the ass four times already in the 4th with the mismatch it creates.
This. Glad to have him, but he needs to continue to develop his game, leadership and effort. Otherwise, we'll have a Melo at the 2.
LOL please McHale, put in Ronnie Brewer, and let Tucker score on him, so these beer google fans can start screaming "ronnie brewer couldnt stop him either!!" I dont want to hear it anymore "ohh it's a team effort!!" blah blah blah, you're the superstar. Go out there and set the tone on defense an be a leader and others will follow.
So, what we learned is that two max contract guys along with another who supposedly has 'elite' defense and sure 3pt shooting cannot win games without Parsons and Jones scoring 20+?
LeBron, Duncan, Parker, Kobe would never act the way Harden is acting. We won't win a championship with this kind of effort. EVER.
I'm tired of losing to pathetic teams thanks to a clueless competent coach and yet I can't believe real Rockets fans defend McHale. This is a talented team held back by an incompetent coach
Actually yes they will. Playoff seeding in the west is going to come down to just a handful of wins. It's the difference between the 4th and the 7th seed.
I don't like to go against Harden, because so many things would not have happened had it not been for him. However, he needs to get his act together. He has so much talent, he needs to fix that attitude though. Tonight was just horrible by him. When great players can't get it going, they start to distribute. Harden can do that, so why doesn't he. Some say McHale is not to balme, but star management comes with the territory and he better learn how to do that.
