I agree with your list except for Beverley.. Canaan and Brooks (and Beverley's offense) makes him expandable. And Morey ain't trading Brooks... Brooks could have took more money to play somewhere else where he could have got consistent playing time... A move like that _ makes future free agents skeptical about dealing with Morey...

I also don't think Parsons belongs on that untouchable list either....

    He does, currently.

Dude has back spasms and McHale still runs him 38 mpg....except when it's against Utah: "Ah, we can win this one without ya..."

Plus he recruited Howard so heavily...

Yeah, unless it's a Don "I'm Gonna Make Him an Offer He Can't Refuse" Corleone trade, Parsons is next to untouchable.

There's only 3 guys that are near untouchable. Harden, Dwight and Parsons.

Beverley is a good player for his contract, but he's far from irreplaceable.

And Canaan? Uh, no. Just No. If a team wants Canaan in a package that Morey likes, Canaan is gone.

As for the *most* gone, that's Asik. And then possibly Lin since he's the only large contract piece that can be put into a deal other than Harden and Dwight.

The rest are pretty much contract filler if Morey finds something he likes.

I wish everyone played with the same fire and desire as AB and Bev did tonight. They are the reason the Rox weren't totally blown away and still within six.

Melo, Harden and D12 on the floor together would equal zero ball movement and a lot of losses.

I think it will be better if we trade Harden for Melo

    Harden/Asik for Melo/Shumpert, play Melody @ pf

Good under the radar thought. Kanter is interesting as there seems to be an issue in Utah with him and Favors playing together. Not sure if he'd fit in better next to Howard.... but that would definitely be the patented Morey out of left field trade.

I'll throw out another name just to stir discussion: Ricky Rubio

Morey seemed to have a huge draft crush on this guy and tried hard to move up for him. I think Lowe or someone just did an article on how he's the worst shooter in the history of the NBA:http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/10070788/the-young-nba-players-looking-make-leap-greatness

I wonder if Morey would still be interested. Similar player to Rondo less attitude but that shooting.....

Morey did like Rubio. I would bet he still does. Don't see any way Minny trades Rubio though. And if they were to trade him I don't think we're a fit. We probably wouldn't be willing to give Minny as much as some other team would.

I'd throw another name out there: Tyler Hansbrough.

if trades falls through, youre looking at projection line up:

    Beverly/Lin
    Parsons/Shumpert
    Carmelo/Garcia
    Jones/Casspi
    Howard/Dmo

Would do Howard and Harden for Durant and Ibaka...
But OKC would not want to ....

    Random

    Houston Rockets
    Out: Asik, Lin, Jones
In: Monroe, Charlie Villanueva, Robin Lopez

    Detroit Pistons
    Out: Monroe, Villanueva
    In: Luol Deng, TJones

    Chicago Bulls
    Out: Luol Dent
    In: Jeremy Lin, CJ McCollum

    Portland Trailblazers
    Out: Robin Lopez, CJ McCollum
    In: Omer Asik

Not perfect for all team. But works from salary cap perspective and interesting at least.
