I've been driving BMWs for 16 years and never had any issues beyond a leaking oil pan on an older E36 I had. It was expensive to replace though.
SO excited about the M4, can't wait to see the reviews. It's supposed to be lighter than the M3 and faster too.
Oh that's fair enough. My understanding is the OP was looking for a sporty 4-door vehicle and people were suggesting the M5 as being more utilitarian. I'm sure you would agree the Tesla is even more utilitarian (more cargo space, could seat up to 7). I don't think the Tesla qualifies as a pure sport vehicle either -- it is a luxury sedan. I think we're on the same page here. Bandwagoner on the other hand is just a hater -- he's obviously no fan of electrics and is probably politically affiliated with the oil lobby (see his random quip about how the government should stop giving out green energy credits). No point having a conversation with him.
yea I'm a fan of the look, but to be fair e92 M3 is a V8 n/a and M4 is twin turbo v6, so there's a lot of potential in the M3 to be a lot quicker, especially rolling. In the dig, M3 is lacking a bit of torque and sluggish, but the handling and high revving speed is incredible he was looking at a coupe actually lol.
Ha! Do you also randomly hear cars racing late a night? I wonder if thats coming from I10 or Memorial?
Lol hell yes. Thursday through Sunday. I've got it figured out. North wind, I-10, south wind Memorial. Then off course Westpark and then Washington. Love listening to the police scanner app on my phone and hearing the cops go nuts.
In no way a hater of EV's. You are the one who seems to be a bit irrational honestly. I'm not a fan of Tesla getting so much public money as I prefer it went to new technology for future electric car technology instead of keeping Tesla in business. As you know they would be making a loss without subsidy. Them selling EVs doesn't push lithium battery tech. Putting a few million into pure research would be effective.
