Your talking in relatively small terms. Im talking about every time Harden is between a man and a layup how he backs up. How he loses his man mutiple times every game. How he matadors nba scrubs that blow by him time and time again. How on turnovers he almost assuredly is going to trot back on D. Hiw if he creates the turnover he usually stands in our end. How he likes to ball watch. Doesnt chase his man if they are screeners or baseline users. If you honestly havent seen this over two years I dont know what else to say. To be clear I was using Dwight and Bev as a rationalization for How Harden costs us on a daily basis, not in this game in particular. Maybe your right. The man is a beast on his rotations.
Yes he was. The excuse last year was, "it's his first year, give him till next year". Now next year is here and now the excuse is "he's probably not 100%". I wonder what next years excuse will be
he's basing this on how Howard made a decision. And to him, yeah they might as well have been (except maybe Parsons) point is, without the beard we don't get Howard.
My posts were pertaining to what actually happened in the Jazz game. More specifically it was to refute the statement that Hayward scored most all of his points on Harden. It went as far as accusing Aleron of "making things up" when he said that Hayward only scored 3 baskets while Harden was guarding him in the first quarter. The video showed that Aleron was 100% correct. You can disect Harden's defense all day but that has nothing to do with the point of my post. No opinion involved, just the facts of what happened. Harden didn't give up most of the points that Hayward scored. Does that mean that Harden's a good defender? Nope. Does it mean that he's a bad defender? Nope. Does it directly refute the statements that i was responding to and show that Aleron's statement was correct? Yes it does and that was the whole purpose. You seem to be think that I said Harden was a good defender but I didn't comment pro or con on the matter. The fact that I corrected an erroneous statement doesn't make any statement whatsoever on how I assess Harden's defensive abilites.
So far this season George has started the game guarding the other team's SF, except against Orlando when he guarded Afflalo, and Minnesota when he guarded Martin. The rest of the guys are Batum, Dudley, Ariza, Kidd-Gilchrist, Turner, Green, Carmelo, Deng twice, Khris Middleton, Prince, Pierce, Gay, Josh Smith, Earl Clark, and Aminu.
On 28 Shots. That's horrible. And he covered Melo for 48 Mins, It was said on First take. Also, George dropped 35 Points on 26 shots while coming up big with 21 points in the 4th and OT. If Harden were to play Georges defense and Offense, He'll pass out with a heart attack mid court.
So basically you're telling us that George and his efficient 35 points is greater than Carmelo's 30 points. Fair enough, and a fair point. What would you say if Player A scored 37 points and had 8 assists on efficient shooting, resluting in ~63 points, and player B scored 27 points and 3 assists on efficient shooting (and actually only scored about 10 of those points against Player A). Would you concede that Player A had a better game, or would you ou start a 10+-page display of utter stupidity in which various morons (or actually 1-2 morons posing as various morons, as well as DaDakota) wearing "I'm with stupid" t-shirts lock arms and cover the ears and eyes and repeat the same lies over and over again. I think I have a guess. Goodbye.
Wait what? This very article came out after the game. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...nicks-beat-miami-heat-indiana-pacers-playoffs
Never said that boss. I said if Harden had to give 110% percent effort on O and on elite level Defense, He'll probably collapse with a heart attack. There are only 2-3 players in the NBA that can do what George does. Westbrook, Lebron and George. This year Lebron is just cruising, But when he's on, He is a monster on the defensive end. There stamina is just out of this world.
