Real top 4 teams don't keep on dropping the ball against BS.
Look at SA, OKC, POR, IND, MIA their losses aren't against bs. Maybe off a back to back vegas upset. Half our losses so far are to teams with less talent.
Close out on the 3 point j*zz shooters please atleast by the 2nd half make some damn adjustments MCH

How long will Parsons be out and if Lin makes the 2 weeks minimum, when is his next game if cleared to play? Harden can't keep playing these heavy minutes. He'll break down.

we could have one of the greatest seasons in the last few years but boy does it chap my hide that we can't close against three of our biggest rivals...

Lakers, Mavs, and now the freaking JAZZ represent half of our losses?

    smh!!!

    A) All 4 of those teams have been playing together longer than a season -- over 4 in the case of SA, OKC and MIA.

    B) MIA dropped games to BOS and PHI early this season. We're not the only "elite" team to get beat down by scrubs.

    C) McHale did adjust. It was Q1 that tanked us against Utah. We let Burke and Hayward get into a rhythm and paid the price. It happens.

McHale really needs to stop playing Harden for 40+ minutes. The guy is already hobbling as is, and generally with a knee contusion you're looking at 2-3 weeks regular recovery time. Don't think Harden even got 2 weeks. Sigh.

I also have a feeling Lin is gonna be out for like 4-5 weeks. The fact that they ruled him out for 2 weeks directly and will re-evaluate then means he's nowhere close to being back.

Hate to say this but this game shows you why we need another Superstar to go with Dwight and Harden. Morey...please go ask the Knicks what they want for Melo. Untouchables should be Dwight, Harden, TJones, Beverley. I think you will need Asik, Lin and Parsons to get Melo.

To be fair, the Jazz off ball movement was so crisp. Everyone screening for one another. I was very, very amazed.

You know there is a random trade thread for absurd trade proposals.

This would be a win with Parsons. This team really needs to get better on D.

Not a big deal that they lost. Think about it... they played their asses off in San Antonio. That game felt like a playoff game. Both teams were going hard.

Then right after the game they fly to Utah. Utah has been playing pretty decent lately. The Rockets are banged up, and Chandler Parsons and Jeremy Lin are not going to be playing. And I'm sure they were exactly chomping at the bit to play the lowly Jazz.

Utah is a tough enough to play to begin with. Then adding all of the other stuff on top of it, it's not surprising the Rockets came out flat.

Jazz came out wanting to avenge their loss, and hit their shots. Rockets didn't shoot that well.

It happens. Move on to the next one.

I think so also. Harden is also not moving as fast while driving currently compared to last year.

Since when are TJones and Beverley "untouchable"? Those are the weakest of our starting 5.

Imagine the sulkfest if Melo came over.

Melo is completely ruining the chemistry of the NY Knicks and his team is falling apart. What would anyone want to bring him into Houston? I wouldn't trade Brewer for Melo and I'm 100 percent serious. People should think before they propose bringing in somebody in terms of how do they fit a team, what's needed on the team, and what type of person it is and does he fit the team's culture. Melo would be a horrendous fit. A no defense, ball stopper jacking up shot after shot and unlike Harden, he doesn't get to the foul line much.

Exactly. The Heat lead only once in the game (2-0)! Things happen and this happened in Miami.

We have to take advantage when we play weaker teams if we want to have home court in the west, the heat dont have to worry about that in the east

the heat & pacers know they will be #1 & #2 in the east, they already know they will face off again in the ECF, they just want to get through reg. season with no injuries, play wade as less as possible and have oden ready to put a body on Hibbert

Morley & rockets are on record saying homecourt in playoffs 1st round is their goal, sky's not falling, but these kind of games can come back and haunt us... Clippers, okc, spurs will win their division
