If this is about swagger then tmac was the last one. Paul George makes the same tmac facial expression after the Bradley dunk. He is cocky in his game and very humble as human.

this thread is lol. Kobe doesn't have a throne, first three rings were Shaq's and the next two he had incredible help from Pau Gasol

All-time? Even starting with Abdul-Jabbar's era, I have the following (in no particular order) ahead of Kobe:

    Jordan
    Magic
    Bird
    Olajuwon
    Shaq
    Duncan
    Lebron
    KAJ
    Moses Malone

So from the modern era, Kobe would be #10. If you're going to consider guys like Chamberlain/Russell/Robertson, then Kobe gets knocked out of the top 10.

What we have here, is a massive nerd.

A man so afraid of making predictions, so afraid of putting himself out there, he weeps at night.

The kind of guy who marries the first girl that dates him.

But this thread isn't about you, Jumer.

It's about George imposing his WILL. Rubbing off his intensity and game takeover ability on players around him. I fink this comes as a shock to you the uninformed because he plays in a small market.

So take it from the messiah - we're looking at the future of shwaggytime, whether he wins 5 rings or not. His closest competition in the next 5 years will be a guy by the name of Wiggins. Bump this thread WHENEVA

    IT'S A NEW ERA

    Blah blah, MJ had Scottie.

    Lebran had Wade.

    Duncan had Tony and Emma.

    Tina had bobby.

    Brad had Anjolina.

Lol @ incredible help from Pau, a guy who was 0-12 in the playoffs with Memphis. No man is an island.

Stupid Post...Stupid Thread...the Kobe narrative continues....Lumping George in with Kobe does George no favors...Kobe without Shaq and Gasol is a glorified Vince Carter...which is why Kobe routinely lost games where scored 30-40 points and took 30-40 shots.....George is a bit better in that department. In fact, when you see a guy like George take as many shots as he did last night..it means something is wrong with the offensive...to put it all in perspective...George scored 43 pts on 30 shots, missed 14 of them along with 15 three point attempts, and Pacers lost by 4 points....Lebron scored 35 pts on 14 shots against the Suns a few weeks back...and Miami won...by 15....ask yourself why that is?

Man I remember when this kid was coming out of college. I was hoping he would fall to #14. Could just feel the McGrady comparisons.
Obviously I didn't think he'd be THIS great, but I thought he would definitely be an awesome player.
Could still probably find the thread in the Draft section.

SF, G, PG, PF, or C....it doesn't matter!! I would love to have him instead of Harden. I like Harden and I think he is major but the lack of effort on "D" is a problem, that rolls down hill.

If your top player slacks, so will the middle players and so will the players at the end of the bench. It has to come from the top down. Kobe is a ballhog and he's arrogant but he demands perfection on both ends of the court and until J. Harden gets to that level, we will continue to be, at best Sactown of the eary 2000's

Well what matters is that LBJ is actually a better player than Kobe, both in offense and in defense. I'm not even sure what throne you're talking about, Kobe started and will end his career as a beggar man's clone of MJ.

I don't even know why you compare PG to Kobe, PG is longer and more athletic than Kobe ever was (hence he's an SF while Kobe is an SG). If you're gonna compare him to anyone, compare him to T-Mac as they have similar frames and similar games prior to coming to Houston (offense, defense, playmaking in development).

Next Kobe? Why does he ball hog and play with the best centers in the game? Wait has Paul George won anything? He's a good up and coming player, who you could even say he's becoming a great player but to compare him to Kobe?

Eh don't really know about that one. He's a better 2 way player than Kobe is night in and night out but he hasn't won anything yet. Let's at least see him reach the NBA finals first, then you can dub him whatever you want to.

LeBron is better than Kobe but it's obvious who the more entertaining player is. Basketball is a business and Kobe brings in more viewers/fans than anyone else for a reason.

The casual fan doesn't care about FG% or TS%. The game isn't watched on a PDF format lol.

The Paul George comparison to Kobe is ridiculous though. Kobe in his prime could put up 40 on any given night. George isn't that sort of player, he isn't cut from the same cloth. He isn't as skilled either. The highlight dunks, vision, defense and shooting is there but he's yet to develop a post game, he lacks elite handles and his overall offensive arsenal is somewhat limited.

Lebron sang n words in Paris and then sunk a buzzer beater. If that's not swaggy, then I don't know what is.

Also, give joakim Noah honorable mention on swag list.

    2010 NBA draft analysis

CBSSports.com real-time grades during the 2010 NBA Draft.

NO. 10: PACERS SELECT: PAUL GEORGE, SF, FRESNO STATE GRADE:F

Analysis: Larry Bird admitted the club's biggest need was a point guard. With another shooter now onboard, that weakness is even more glaring.

Yes it's also LBJ. His "Decision" alone generated so much drama and entertainment ESPN made an entire show out of it, that amount of hype was something Kobe was never able to do his entire career. If you're talking about entertainment on the court then it's still LBJ, his array of tomahawk dunks, magic-esque passes, blocks and of course game winners are a lot more entertaining and highlight reel worthy than ISOs, layups and fade away Js that Kobe does.

I'm not even sure why you separate entertainment and winning, for a lot of people who watch sports winning itself is entertaining. This is the main reason why the Spurs (who play the most boring Bball ever) and Miami always plays in sold-out home arenas while the LA Lakers (featuring your boy "entertainer" KObe) dipped in attendance last year.
