    I'm looking forward to Canaan and Covington shooting the ball better. They have exceeded my expectations as a ball handler and a defender so far, but drastically under performed for what they are most known.

    Troy Daniels has averaged almost 16 3pt attempts per game in the first 3 RGV games, and is now 3 of 4 from 3s in 5 minutes.

    The Vipers have shot 29 three-pointers... AND IT'S HALFTIME! 74-60 Vipers at HALF.

    Troy Daniels is crazy ... he is 6-7 from three-point range in the first half alone (21 points). Canaan has 16 points and 8 assists also.

    It's amazing how the RGV is leading a team of legitimate NBA bench players by 14 at the half.

    Nevada Smith is crazy. Doing it without starting anyone taller than 6'9.

    They have broke an NBDL record, making 24 threes in this game, up in a rout with 2 minutes left.

    Took 50 threes out of 109 shots, and only 12 FTs.

    67 rebounds too.

    That was one crazy game.

    4th double digit 3pt attempt game in a row for Troy Daniels.

    Isaiah Canaan went 7-12 from 3s after 3 poor shooting games to start the season. But we all know the shooting is there. Probably just adjusting to more athletic players compared to what he faced in college.

    Apparently everyone has the green light on that team ... good Lord. I'm gonna have to watch this. The stats alone make me think they just passed the ball inbounds and just chuck it as fast as they can. Sounds like a circus.

    It was a better game to watch than the Rockets - Jazz game.

    I think it's really hard to get a good gauge of players when shots fall and it's just up and down the court.

    If we can't get a 3 and D perimeter to replace Ronnie Brewer (McHale's not going to play a 0 and D guy), we might as well give Troy Daniels a contract and call him up. He's got at least one NBA-ready skill.

    Apparently Texas Legends coach, former NBA player Eduardo Najera, was trash-talking the Vipers players in the second quarter when they went nuts from three.
