    Brooks-Bev-harden-Casspi-Dwight = No Rebounds!!!!

Where the **** was T Jones?...T jones struggling on offense...but he still is a great reb....Does offense only matter to mchale?...Where the **** was Garcia?..he was getting hot from 3..then he got benched..i don't get it

    This.

It's clear Morey runs the team but we still need coach to make decisions during the flow of the game.

Brooks, Bev and Harden as your perimeter defenders when they were getting torched all night?

We had enough O but problem was Jazz were scoring at will and McHale just let it go.

I'm just thinking out loud here.

But maybe. Maybe. The coaching staff could MENTALLY PREPARE the team and not allow them to play down to their opposition.

That is twice already in this short season we have lost to two of the worst teams in the entire league.

Cisco, brewer, cassipi all couldn't contain Hayward when they either played on him or got switched, I think the problem was the whole team. No point blaming mchale here.

Not just Hayward mate. Even the likes of Burke, and Burcs were torching the Rockets.

Cisco would have done a better job. They just went past the above 3 like they didn;t even exist

Cisco started on Hayward and we gave up 17 points in the first quarter. He wasn't fighting through the screens effectively enough.

Did u even watch the game?

He is I thought he was: an OK coach, better than a lot of dummies, but don't expect he win you a championship with his game plan and adjustment.

Don't whine. Wait until his gets out-coached in playoffs.

for the record here, we were down 3 in san antonio with 46 seconds left. harden then tied the game with a trey off an offensive rebound and loose ball broken play. parker missed a layup he was otherwise making the entire game. harden got bailed out on drive for FT's. and beverley made an amazing tip-in follow-up over duncan after harden missed a fastbreak layup.

if not for some luck and some tremendous individual plays, we lose that game. and all that is remembered is yet another epic collapse (from 23pts this time) for a mchale coached team. we certainly didn't win that game in the last minute due to getting buckets off of his wonderful halfcourt sets SMH.

That same criticism cuts both ways though - if you give him blame for blowing a 23 point lead, you also have to give him credit for getting the 23 point lead to begin with. The Spurs spent alot of energy making the comeback, and they fell short. Yes they were lucky, but they were in position to BE lucky.

going back 2 prior seasons, his teams somehow someway find a way to collapse. whoever is on the roster, it happens. if you want me to say that mchale did a good job getting us to the 6th seed through 72 games last season prior to the regular season collapse, ok….good job mchale!

So we've gone from Spurs game to 2 seasons ago... move the goalposts much?

The Spurs collapsed against the Miami Heat in the finals - Fire Popovich!!1

Terrence Jones was tearing it up in the scoring and rebounding department and then mchale suddenly had a mcfail moment and played him for only 17 minutes in this game against the Jazz.

A good coach would've played terrence jones from the beginning of the season because he deserved it.

This lineup has been winning because of the talent on the team despite the coaching blunders of mcfail.

Every season Mcfail will be allowed to coach this team is an opportunity loss where we could've had more competent coaching.

The things Assistant GM Morey does to please GM Danny Ainge. tsk.tsk.

    YES!

Because making the Finals and choking on a few possessions is the same as being such a bad coach you can't beat a 3-15 team.

Because winning numerous Championships is the same as being told you're not wanted by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

    Welcome to the Block party.

Anyone who has such a low IQ in relationship to basketball such as you - doesn't deserve to even be heard from.

Hopefully noone quotes your 'special' views in the future so they stay hidden.

OK fine the thread goes back 2 years, but you realize the Rockets had collapses 3 years ago and 4 years ago as well right? And even JVG and Rudy had collapses too? And even the Spurs and Popovich have collapses too, you understand this, yes? That was my point.

I'm not comparing McHale to Popovich, I'm comparing collapse to collapse. Context. Context is your friend.
