No, but he is 3rd or 4th depending on what stretch Lin is in.

It's Harden, Howard, as 1 and 2 and then Lin and Parsons flip-flop as 3 and 4. We need them all but really, if Asik played better, we could win with Harden, Lin and Parsons with Asik but Howard adds more if he's playing to his normal standards.

no it wasn't. We were down 19 the last time we played them and we even had the lead in the 2nd quarter.

Harden's play has been sub par this season. Plays no defense and his offensive play doesn't make up for it.

Harden also dropped 37 and 8 assists

Seriosuly if Harden is to blame for this loss, then all faith in humanity is lost.

I have no problem with JH's offense, except for sharing and moving the ball a little bit more. But for the team to go somewhere during playoffs, the best players must play defense (including DH, I was pretty disappointed with his defense as well). JH has shown that if he puts effort in defense, his defense is not bad at all. Most of the criticisms towards JH are constructive. If JH wants to be the best player he can be and win a championship or two, he got to be a two-way player.

TEAMS WITH LOTS OF OUTSIDE SHOOTERS KILL THE ROCKETS

why are we isolating players out from the team and blaming the loss on them? Everyone played a part in this loss.

Very disappointing loss, biggest problem with the team still is effort on perimeter defense, Harden has a terrible time with players that move around...figures Hayward who was shooting under 30% his last five games goes for 29 on 66% shooting.

Patrick Beverley... think he got way overrated by everyone in the rockets organization. Great effort guy, and makes some nice hustle plays that sticks into your mind, but honestly his overall defensive impact has been spotty at best going back into the playoffs last season. His offense has been downright terrible. Don't think there is a pg in the league that is getting starter minutes producing such bad numbers at low efficency. That said think Bev works hard and will definitely improve over the course of this and upcoming seasons. Think he would be a lot better in 20-25 minutes going all out.

Season is still young, but definitely need to think about team defense...and more defense. Our offense is rarely the problem except when we panic and have individuals try to save the team with sticky ball.

Look on the bright side.....the team only turned the ball over 8 times. This just shows that putting up points in a hurry > TOs. Tough loss.

Check the box score again. Garcia and Casspi were shooting well. Brooks was starting to get his touch. Beverly was a little off, but he got some lay ups in. The only two guys who were off were Omer and Jones, but they didn't play major minutes.

Offense, was not a problem for us this game. If we need to make more than 109 points a night to win games, then we might as well blow up the team and start over.

What was Bev doing? Was he supposed to be a defensive specialist and spot-up shooter? Was that the reason he was gifted the starter spot?

I want to see the Rockets win but to those who say that the GARM is unreadable when we lose, I completely disagree.

When we win this place is like an annual report of a growing company: "nice job by everyone, if we continue to develop we should see good results in the future." When we lose this place is like a Shakespearean tragedy, like CNN in the middle of a national crisis. Much more readable. :)

I would rather get the victories, but it is a long season and we need some thread entertainment along the way.

Last time though we also had Lin and Parsons. If the Rockets are gonna play little or no defense, they better damn well have their top offensive weapons available. This loss really hurts cuz it effectively negates the Spurs win.

he is not and never will be. he has a superstar first step and a great 3 point shot. he doesn't have the lateral quickness to be a good defender. he is what he is. which is why we need lockdown defenders at the 1 and 3 to make up for him. we need a battier type.

Are you Brooks? I'm sure Brooks thought he was getting in the groove but it proved not to be so.

So if Garcia and Casspi had good games did that have to do with the ball moving around OR Harden assisting their shots...or just them getting their own?

Oh, absolutely. There's a reason this thread is double the length of Saturday's (and why a lot of people who were nowhere to be found in that thread are out in full force tonight).
