This was an obvious trap game. Just came off a huge high by winning @ San Antonio. It's like asking a guy to have sex right after climaxing. No Lin, Parsons, playing in the altitude, and we're missing whatever piece we could potentially get from the Asik trade. Calm down. We're fine.
With Lin and Parson out you pretty much have to cover their 30 plus point spread. I didn't watch the whole game but with only 2 points from Jones and not much showing by the rest it's going to be hard to beat any team.
Garcia's lack of defense forced that early switch of Harden onto Hayward. Harden kept him to 0-1 in the final quarter oddly enough. Hayward scored 7 points in a minute and a half on Brewer, it was the worst of the lot tbh. The player we missed the most in this game was Lin, Utah can't stop dribble penetration, but Harden can't be the only guy doing it.
And this is what NBA fans are like every board I visit. Except really complacent fans like the Lakers and the Trailblazers when Felton was their PG. You can't escape it.
Another thought from today. 3rd quarter: If today is not a day to play Ronnie Brewer.... when is he going to play? ¿? .... Let's hope everybody in the team draw conclusions from today... Loss is not extremely surprising though, but it was definitely avoidable even counting with the crappy effort to start the game.
Who else was scoring exactly? When Harden moved the ball no one else did ****. In the clutch Harden became passive at the worst time and the Rockets could have just rid him to a win.
Nobody is exaggerating Harden's defensive problems. Right now, he's a liability, possibly because his feet are still dogging him. He let Justin Bieber work himself into a rhythm and bury us early. Is he the sole reason we lost this game? Nah. Jazz hustled themselves to victory. Burke seems to be that thing that's been missing for them these first 15 games or so. We were off. It happens.
It's good that the Rockets are in the West. With their signature effort against **** teams, they might not make the playoffs in the East.
Yeah, who was that a**hole, wasn't it King1? ban him Clutch! ...alright it was me It's not my fault they played with their massively inflated heads in their asses though. They got high off the Spurs win and paid no respect to the Jazz. Serves them right tbh.
Harden made a 3 near the end. The problem in clutch was being unable to grab rebounds, or defend, and Brooks for whatever reason thought he was Iverson.
Morey is simply showcasing Asik's amazing offensive talents. We are going to get a lottery pick for him. Just watch.
Jazz made big plays and we just faltered, you will know that things will go on their way when they have 3 offensive rebounds on the crucial minutes,we play good basketball on this game ,it's just that Jazz played better.
Were Stockton and Malone playing tonight? So it was who and who had career nights. And the Jazz shot 60% from three point land?! Can't be serious. Beating the Jazz should be this team's number one priority. Massive fail.
WTH? I thought this one was in the bag and watched other games instead. Was Harden the only one carrying the team again? Nevermind... I don't want to know....
If the team plays defense early in the game the team wins by 10 or more, you let bad teams hang around and sometimes they are going to hit the shots they normally miss. You have to play hard against everyone, this team still has growing up to do. Ridiculous to lose to that team. DD
Everybody chill the fudge up. The 72 wins Bulls team dropped one to the expansion Raptors at the Skydome. If Rockets win 55+/- games I am happy.
I don't see any " superstar " traits in him sorry. Superstars lead their team with their effort and consistency. Look at lebron , cp3, Durant and Kobe for those traits . Harden has EXTREMELY limited offensive game as well. A player like dwade is the kind of style he should learn. If your entire offense is contested 3's running to paint looking for bailout fouls , you aren't a superstar. That's the sign of a player with limited athletic ability . Kobe's old self is still better offensively than harden and I don't see that changing until Kobe retires
