Hey bro, can you please explain to me the "double-result" thing? I'm kinda just new to betting and I've got to admit I've never heard of such a tactic before!! haha. Any help would be much appreciated
The points spread for Houston vs. Atlanta is 9? Wow Atlanta can't be that bad. Tempted to take Atlanta +9. Any thoughts?
Yeah, shows what I know. Was planning on taking Spurs +2.5 too but didn't get it in, probably for the best.
ORL-PHI means ORL will win first half and PHI will win the second. You basically put a small amount on ORL-PHI and PHI-ORL. Since they have high odds (7 and 5.5 respectively), you can cover your loss easily if you win one of them. Unfortunately ORL won both halves, so I lose. I'll try again though and if I win the next one, I will be able to cover today's losses too. On the other bets, it was a good night. Lost the CHI-DET, but won the IND, LAL and HOU ones.
So how was your Thanksgiving? I had a good laugh reading Thanksgiving Potluck Anyhow, these are my picks for today... MIL Bucks - CHA Bobcats (CHA -5) @1.935 MIL is really bad right now and Al Jefferson shoud give them fits in absence of Sanders. GSW Warriros - OKC Thunders (OKC -7) @1.952 GSW is surprisingly bad without Igoudala. Let's exploit that while it lasts... LAL Lakers - DET Pistons (-5) @1.909 LAL steamrolled DET in their last game, but I don't see Jordan Hill posting another career high in points and rebounds like he did against DET. NYK Knicks - DEN Nuggets (-9) @1.952 Another boo-session for Carmelo and DEN is hot... PHX Suns - UTA Jazz (PHX -?) @1.9 This should be a no brainer. PHX will have a big advantage at PG position and Dragic is hot and UTA is struggling with fast-paced teams like PHX. Actually UTA is struggling against everyone right now... BKN Nets - HOU Rockets (HOU -?) @1.9 HOU is on a tear and we are doing it without Harden and even Lin in last game. They should decimate the old Nets.
3-3 today. I don't think I'm touching NYK and LAL's matches for a while. They are too unpredictable. I mean, on paper Pistons should blow out the LAL 10 times of out of 10, but they lost two in a row to them this season.
Yup, I stayed away from betting on any match tonight and I'm glad I did. I would win one or max two bets, but lose at least 3, if not even 4. I wanted to bet on WAS (would win), but PHX (lost to Jazz), CHI (lost to CLE) and MEM (lost to BKN) were all surprises. Wanted to put a +5.5 on HOU, but didn't have the guts. I was obviously wrong.

So you are 2 for 2? Or are you showing us just the winning ones? J/k... I'm also 2 for 2, nailed the NOP -1 and IND -1.5
It's cool. I don't make a daily bets. the only other one i made this week was a teaser on Thursday that netted $500. I give the NBA through the weekend after Thanksgiving before starting to bet again.
For today I'm tempted to take: ORL +6 WAS is playing good, but ORL is a strong team. If they play like this, they can make the playoffs because Eastern conf. is so week. ORL probably loses this, but +6 is a lot. HOU -7 We're missing Lin and probably Garcia&Parsons, but other guys are able to step up. Portland at +2 is very tempting, as Indiana plays 2nd game of B2B, but Portland is probably weaker than the record suggests since the schedule was pretty favorable until now. Indiana will probably suffocate them on defense, but it really feels like a gamble.
Staying away from the initial basketball lines. If anything I'll bet halftime. Not basketball but I love the Saints and the 5 tonight. Brees is going to be throwing against their 4th, 5th and 6th CBs.
Wager (sort by time) Risk Win New Orleans Saints +6 (-108) New Orleans Saints (9-2) @ Seattle Seahawks (10-1) (ESPN) Scheduled : 12/02/13 7:40 PM (CST) Accepted: 12/02/13 2:00 PM (CST) Sport: Football - NFL - Game (#449) Ticket #: 83010468 Risk/Win: $1,080.00/$1,000.00 Outcome: Pending $1,080.00 $1,000.00 1 of 1 Total Wagers $1,080.00 $1,000.00
Interesting that Blazers are favored (+2) against Pacers @POR. I wonder if that's due to their somewhat underwhelming victory @LAL yesterday and/or the Pacers victory @LAC. Usually oddsmakers give a lot of credit to the home team so this came as a surprise to me.
It's a B2B for the Blazers too as they played the Lakers in LA last night. Portland haven't lost at home to Indiana since 2007-08. Last season they blew them out at home for 100-80.
Yeah, I worded that wrong, but I meant it's surprising they'd pick the Pacers over the Blazers in Portland (giving the Blazers points). Today I decided to go with King1 since he's reported a lot of success, although I know nothing about the NFL. Well, that didn't work out too well! However, I did recoup by betting on Utah moneyline (+280) .. just felt like a trap game with Houston coming off a big win, Utah @home, and no Parsons (= Harden trying to do too much).
My pick for today is DEN - BKN (DEN -4.5). Denver is on a hot streak and Brooklyn lost Paul Pierce to an injury. Waiting for PHX - MEM line, PHX should be a favourite here with Gasol and Randolph out and Conley being abused by Dragic and Bledsoe.
