Can you stop this Parsons/George comparison? this is getting embarrassing. I mean i like Parsons , but i would trade two Parsons for a PG in a heartbeat.
Speaking of which _ Rockets are ranked #11 in team defensive efficiency and #9 in opponent's FG% from the floor. And #4 in point differential. This just goes to show that Harden's individual defense isn't as much of an issue as some make it out to be.
And I would take Deng over both of them... And I would also be just as happy with Harrison Barnes, Jimmy Butler, Tony Snell, Leonard, The Alphabet, Batum, etc. That position is deep and outside of LeBron and KD _ small forwards are a dime a dozen... But _ like I said... When Indiana and Houston play each other ---> we will see
I agree with this sentiment. George is sick. But I think Harden is far more equipped to take over in the 4th quarter no matter who is guarding him. The rockets are set up though to where that shouldn't be necessary versus most opponents. Harden should be able to get his within the flow of the game when the offense is running the way it should be. He only has to take over if the shooters go cold. Another thing is that he isn't completely dependent on his shot falling to take over either.
Did Harden stop Lebron in the championship game pimpn? No How many points in that series did Lebron score. What did Harden do in that championship series. Look here I am a huge Harden fan and am extremely happy he is on our team. But you or undermining what PG brings to the table here. What does signature win has to do with anything. Harden was on a team with two other Superstars and a deep a** team. What did Harden and the Rockets do in their 1st playoff's together? Also tell me how deep did the Pacers team go into the playoff's last season? Im not bragging on anything just pointed out that PG is a baller period whether you like him or not. Both players are coming into their own and will be Superstars for years to come. So why are you trying to refute that Remii? LOL
George > Harden. It's scary. But you have to think outside the box tho, and when you think outside the box, you gotta fear the beard.
We haven't had a tough schedule either, so what are you talking about. When they play each other I will be pulling for my squad The Rockets to spank that a**. Cupcake schedule huh ,,,didn't they beat the Clippers and 76ers, lol teams we lost too. Sh** we lost to the Clippers twice. Now please tell us who ate Harden's lunch. LOL Better yet I will ,,JJ Redict twice, Steve freaking Blake, J. Anderson torched him for 36 bwhahahahahahah and you on here talking about Deng ate PG lunch.
George is hitting a ridic amount of outside jumpers that are probably going to revert to the mean eventually - on offense definitely Howard; on defense George. However - , I don't think George would be considered nearly as good on defense if he played on the Rockets and was asked to run up and down as much as Houston does. He wouldn't be as bad as Harden, but his reputation wouldn't really be the same.
I think harden is the better player and talent but calling PG "more" Aliza is an insult to PG. he's a great player and one of the risings young stars of the next generation. But their is a difference in him and harden. PG potential is what we're seeing right now IMO. Harden potential is possible best player in the game in 3 yrs. we're talking defense here Guys defense!!! He's not bad at it anyways it totally overblown. I agree it is a debate worth having heck they even practice together in the offseason. But I'm also sure that Pg is learning from harden and not the other way around James is ask refined on offense at 24 it's scary why he is going to be in 2 years. He's already done what only the truly great wings have done last season I would like to think off that alone his ceiling Is on a whole mother level then PG but apparently it's not enough for some ppl but 18 games of solid play on a stacked team out east is lol. And we call this a rockets fan site.
Except for three things 1) Paul George has had the easiest competition of any team in the ENTIRE NBA 2) Paul George is extremely likely to regress back toward his career average 3) James Harden has been playing on two hurt feet since the beginning of the season which has hampered his production Harden is actually a FAR better offensive player than Paul George.
Harden was coming off the bench in OKC... He did his job by getting OKC to the finals. That's on Westbrook, KD, and Ibaka (the guy they wanted to pay).... That's on the big money starters not the guy off the bench on a rookie contract... Lol.. Last year down in Miami as a starter Harden outplayed LeBron... You're bringing up Harden stopping LeBron in the finals (like that was his job anyway) just to defend George's non existent elite defense in the playoffs... And Harden did a good job defensively against Manu and Kobe that year in the playoffs by the way... If you think George is better than Harden _ ok... Like I said... We'll see how the year goes and as Harden gets healthy (which seems not to matter to you). We'll see what's popping when the Rockets go head up against that mighty Indiana defense. We'll see what you talking then...
Harden didn't play in the Philly game homie... You just want to blame Harden for everything huh...Lol. Next you'll probably blame him for the TT experiment they started the year with... We'll see if you're laughing later in the year...
Him coming off the bench has no barring at all, dude was playing over 30 minutes a game. You do know they offered Harden a nice contract extension as well, our Rockets offers was better. Harden outplayed Lebron in one freaking game pimpn,,bwhahahahah you can do better than that. Harden didn't play any elite defense either during his playoff's runs. Did he shut either of those aging players up, hell to the no. Stop reaching pimpn. Again Like I said I am a Rockets fan and I hope we beat the crap out of them when we play them here and at their place. But I will tell you this PG will get his too. Last season head to head 1st game: Harden- 5-19 shooting, 17 pts, 5 reb, 7 ast, 1 stl, & 4 blk PG- 11-19 shooting, 31 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast, 5 stl, & 1 blk 2nd game: Harden- 6-24 shooting, 22 pts, 4 reb, 8 ast, 1 stl & 0 blk PG- 4-17 shooting, 16 pts, 6 reb, 3 ast, 3 stl, & 0 blk So again how much better is Harden, Remii LOL
Stop nick picking and reaching pimpn . when have you seen me blame Harden for his teammates problems. You need to stop the hating on PG and chill out with the man crush on Harden. Both players are dynamic in their own way. Numbers don't lie either, right now George is out playing Harden on BOTH ends of the court. Again for the 3rd time I am a big fan of Harden. So lets keep it 100 around here, this is not the Chronicle LOL hahahahahaah
You imbecile. James Anderson torched up Lin for 36 . Harden wasn't even playing in that game. The oother games, he was playing on a busted feet. Go watch his defense in the last two games now that he can actually move.
Can't argue with a guy claiming Parsons is better than George too. I'm all for supporting your squad but come on.
Hold up buddy... I never said Parsons was better. That's not in anything I stated... No need to come on here and lie friend... That's not necessary...
The Rockets team was discombobulated last year compared to Indiana's team... Howard has a better squad around him this year.. Of course that's meaningless to you though.
