I think the only decent movie he was in was Pleasantville. I feel sorry for his family, but wouldn't waste my time watching his films. Why is Paul Walker's death more relevant than the train derailment in New York? People care much more about celebrities than anonymous casualties or serious issues.
It's like asking why the lives on 2000 people died on 9/11 are more important than the deaths of 500,000 brown people in Iraq. It's because they are American. Same way with Paul Walker. The other people on the train don't really matter to anyone.
There are a bunch of people who have contributed to this threat who really shouldn't have bothered. Bloody pathetic....
He was mainly in mainstream films and mostly stayed out of gossip tabloids. Former is the reason why he isn't cast in more complex roles. The latter is commendable.
He is commenting on the hierarchy of people that matter. 1. Celebrities 2. Americans 3. Foreigners in other Western nations 4. Foreigners in third world nations.
It's not relevant, it's all on the news. You have options and google search engines to see what stories you want happening from around the world. I don't watch TV and/or have cable so I don't know what's relevant or not.
It's bc we have much more emotion invested in Paul Walker (since we know him)...than a train with people we dont know. Much in the same way that we have more emotion invested in Americans than foreigners.
The simple fact to me is to have a car with that kind of power on the road considered to be street legal is a freaking joke. It's a race car. It should be for racing only. Sure, you could say that about other cars but a V10 with 600+ horsepower? Talking about total overkill for a road car. People buy cars like that to speed...not drive the speed limit. It's a wonder how it's not considered illegal. I guess because most people can't afford one so there are not enough out there to worry about.
Wow so people actually heard them cry for help? They didn't die on impact but instead, suffered through that blaze?
Yup. People forget that the reason cars have a top speed of 150-200 is not for the streets. The bumps, turns, and other distractions does not sit well with a powerful car like that at high speeds. 120 on a track, or 120 on 610...very diff.
There is a TMZ video of one of Walker's friends/co-workers...apparently the guy was notified of the accident, and when he got there, the fire was going on. He walked up to the car and they were trying to get him out, but it was too hot to be able to do anything. However, he did say that Paul was unconscious during the entire time he was there, so Im hoping that maybe those reports of cries arent fully accurate. Sad, sad story.
usually people in fires die from smoke inhalation before being burned alive. i can only hope that was the case for Walker and the driver.
