I think this thread was meant to be a Beverley bashing thread.

Emphasizing a bunch rankings that are all low and then ending on a rant about Lin.

I almost think using stats to appreciate Bev is wrong, because most of the special things that Bev does nght in and night out doesn't show up n the box score.

Beverley is making most of the unique situation where he wouldn't start on any team but the Rockets. Lin is unfortunately the odd man out amongst Parsons, Harden and himself all three of whom are average defenders. Harden is a superstar, and Parsons is favored by Mchale even though he doesn't give any effort on defense himself.

Still he is doing well so far. Although this might be a troll thread, I agree with the OP that Beverley and Brooks make Lin very expendable.

I LOVE Beverly. He's become one of my favorite players in the NBA, quicker than almost anyone else ever has.

He breathed life into this team when he joined last year. The chemistry he's created and the effort he puts in- everything he stands for- I love it. He's very inspiring. I really hope he's on our team for a long time.

    What a guy.

What makes this thread so unintentionally hilarious. Every single post by the OP in this thread is some reference to Lin. While everyone else was praising Beverley.

Personally, I think Beverley is still very rough around the edges both on offense and defense. But he has a good attitude, a toughness that unfortunately not really prevalent with this team. And that putback the middle of several Spurs to close the game out for us? Simply AMAZING.

Unfortunately i was blessed with accidently reading one of the OP's other posts. It was bashing Lin, so I'm guessing he's a troll.

    Who cares about OP trolling

This thread is where we appreciate our hardworking starting PG that gave us a huge win yesterday with a tipin over a 7 footer.

Look I'm just not big on Lin. The guy is a slow healer and gets hurt easily. Pat tears a rib muscle he's out 5 days. Milsap grazes Lin's knee he's it 2 weeks minimum but probably more like 3 or 4 weeks. I can't stand that. Sack up and play.

It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. I do understand you're a noob but really it is a dumb post.

Am I wrong? Lin heals slow and his injuries come off of light contact incidents. Pat literally had a torn rib muscle and came back In under a week.

I actually thought Parker had an off night. 27 points on 27 shots is way below TP efficiency, and something I would take every time we play the Spurs. If it weren't for Belinelli going crazy, we'd have won this comfortably.

I'll even go so far as to say if Lin wasn't so soft he might not have lost his starting job after the Playoffs. If Lin didn't go all immobilized with a freaking chest bruise Pat wouldn't have had the chance to start and locked down WB and RJ. Pat won the starting job in that series and wouldn't have had the chance if Lin wasn't weak sauce with the disproportional healing to light contact injury incidents.

Worked out for the ROX. Pat shut down WB and RJ and made his name and won the starting job.

Pat Bev did a great job on TP, especially in the first half. TP just did TP thing in the 2nd half. That doesn't take away from the fact that Pat Bev still did an incredible great job on TP. Also, Pat Bev sounded pissed that he let TP score that much, I think that'll give him motivation for the next time we play them.
