Is it not a luxury car? I mean, 500k cost is pretty damn luxury to me...or the 0-60 in under 4 seconds, with a top speed of over 200 mph.
It isn't a race car. A race car would have slicks. roll cage and fire extinguisher. The stig calls them luxury cars. Does he drive 5 mph under? <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/rhonXFCTJ2A?hl=en_US&start=131&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/rhonXFCTJ2A?hl=en_US&start=131&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
this is a luxury car this is a sports car Spoiler Luxury cars are supposed to be luxurious and comfortable to drive in. A car like a Carrera gt is low to the ground and has stiff suspension with a stiff steering wheel where you feel every bump. Don't know who would consider that luxurious.
Low to the ground and stiff suspension says that that car isn't luxurious, hence it is not a luxurious car. It's a sports car or a supercar.
Luxury doesnt only refer to comfortable sedans that are nice, warm, and fuzzy to drive...any type of car can be considered a luxury car. Any car that has high quality equipment, great design, technological advancement, an amazing engine/performance, etc... is considered a luxury car. The GT is most certainly a luxury vehicle...and it's really not even debatable.
If i'm a pro race car driver ANYTHING is more luxurious than what I drive professionally. Again I repeat, a car designed to have stiff suspension in order to have minimum body roll and plenty of steering feedback is not a luxury car.
So what do you call a car designed to be luxurious or comfortable to drive in? I have a name for them. It's called a luxury vehicle.
Luxury is a different word than "comfortable"....you're confusing the two. Look up a list of the most expensive luxury vehicles in the world...is a Lambo or a Ferrari comfortable to drive? No, they arent, but that doesnt make it less luxurious. Again, luxury refers to innovation, design, performance, prestige, etc...
So what do you call a car designed to be comfortable to drive in such as Audi A8 or BMW 7 series? I always thought they were referred to as luxury sedans while cars like the M3 or RS5 were considered sport sedans.
An A8, 7 series, S Class...those are all most definitely luxury vehicles. A Tesla with it's innovation and design is a luxury vehicle. There are lots of luxury vehicles...it can be a sports car, sedan, convertible, SUV, etc...
Porsche gt is a rare super car . Not a luxury car at all. People die in car accidents all the time for many reasons. Don't know why you would hate on walker, seemed like a good person. He was doing lots of charity work. If you hate Porsche gt then you hate speed
lol the GT is definitely not a luxury car. Porsches in general are not luxury cars. After you've driven and rode in one (minus 1-2 models), you would clearly understand that. It drives and looks (inside and out) like a sports car. While adding that those are not easy cars to drive. They're powerful and i can easily understand how easy it is to take a corner just a little too fast, or jerking the wheel a little too fast causing the car to spin out. going at fast speeds like that in a rear wheel drive car like that, there's not much you can do once all the wheels break loose. However the only questionable part is why the car caught fire so quick. there's a system in the car thats suppose to immediately disable the motor after a hard impact accident. However they hit, they must have either hit something at just the right spot to start a fire, or it was something else. It also doesn't help that the gas tank is located about a foot from the drivers side seat.
Is a Lamborghini a luxury car? Or a Ferrari? A Porsche is in the same class. Luxury cars can be sports cars, super cars, coupes, sedans, whatever other names you can have. http://www.autobytel.com/top-10-cars/most-expensive-cars/luxury-cars/
He was trying to merge onto the highway at like 90mph. I believe he hit the rails first and then trees.
