Crazy and free is the name of his car club right?
    Maybe he did say that.

I had read in several articles there was a pretty sizable burnout and doughnut tracks in a figure eight pattern at the scene but those articles didn't say where they were.

In the beginning of that video those tracks are clearly visible and are in fact right on top of the accident scene that was apparently right outside the charity event they had just left. Now whether or not those tracks are related to this accident remains to be seen but given their proximity they are suspicious to say the least.

Also if you didn't think this could get anymore tragic and depressing:

You obviously haven't been following TMZ enough. I'm pretty sure their accuracy rate on breaking news like this is quite high despite some missteps like the Lil Wayne news-which is why I'm sure some silly people on Twitter were talking about waiting for a "credible" news source even though news organizations that are more respected than TMZ still rely on TMZ for their breaking news at times.

TMZ is probably the most reliable news source when it comes to stuff like this...I dont know why people have this desire to make them not seem legit. They've been nailing stories for years now.

I dunno...if speed was my high and I wanted to go out smiling when I died doing it, then I would at least want to be the one driving versus just being a helpless passenger.

Apparently he endorses foolish speeds and poor driving on public roads. Innocent drivers are killed everyday by ignorant fools like that.

The driver was a former pro race car driver.

It shows one thing: even with experts, life is fragile and can end at any point.

You would be surprised how few accidents occur from speeding relative to inclement weather, distracted driver or intoxicated driver.

It's one thing to race around a track. I doubt it has any bearing on speeding on streets. If anything, a pro race driver might get caught up in being overconfident because they have raced professionally thinking they can handle any car in any situation. He clearly couldn't handle this particular car as it got the better of him.

There are almost 100 fatalities on public roads every day so I assume your use of the word "few" is relative? I mean just last week in Pasadena:

    http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=9329507

Well designed race tracks don't have trees OR other drivers who aren't choosing to participate.

If you want to make a strong case, start with NASCAR instead of a single person. Also include your research about cellphones and alcohol if you want to know more about what's killing innocent drivers.

I would if the topic was drunk or distracted driving. Do you think I am pro drinking and driving? My main problem is too many morons have a DL. the test should be much harder and 5-10% of people should have theirs revoked at a minimum.

But my gripe here is a couple of rich guys who could afford to go to as many track days as they want, took their luxury car on a joy ride.

    What reports are you referencing?

Looked through the web, forum, and news searches on google for the last 24 hours and found nothing. Couldn't find anything on twitter either.

You are the first person I know of to consider a Porsche Carrera GT a luxury car. You seem to be the guy who goes 5 under the speed limit or right at the speed limit when the flow of traffic is going 5-10 over.
