Harden made me almost jump off his bandwagon when he tried to draw a call when he was hit in the nose tonight. I was livid! baiting the ref was the reason I loathed Kevin Martin's game. If he went out there and just played I would like him A LOT more. I was happy he got so angry and went to you-gonna-call-this-foul mode. with that said. beast.
I wasn't pleased with that play, either. I don't mind a little "selling," shall we say, but don't fall down and lose the ball. But I guess that slap in the face didn't feel too good. Because going into the timeout, Harden had a baaaad look in his eye. The next possession, he took it straight to the hole and drew a no-doubt foul. Turned into a monster 4th. He wanted to take over, after that happened.
This. Some guys are just unguardable (Dirk, KD) and you have to fight fire with fire. Individual elite O in the NBA >>>>> individual elite D. As long as Harden plays respectable D, he'll put himself above George.
Hardens a special player and you guys that doubt him will be eating crow later. What he did tonight only a the truly elites can do. He was hitting clutch shots getting tontheline and making the pass while playing great defense all night and grabbing the biggest rebound of the night to officially seal the game. He's a true superstar and only going to get better. This is what he looks like healthy if you forgot by being bigger stronger and faster then the guy guarding him and hitting all kinds of crazy shots. If he hits 85% of his ft like normal he's got 35 tonight and we win by 10. This team is good and will only go as far as James harden takes us.
and it has to be the Spurs or another elite Western team, not the Cavs or some other ****ty Eastern team thats trying to tank
Yep. Will be interesting to see how the Pacers do and PG does. This is what separates Harden from PG, he can just take over and win a game like this.

Paul George is legit. I know this is a Rockets forum but Geez you guys would be singing a different tune if he was a Rocket. I believe Harden is better but come on George is legit.
There's a difference between legit and being better than Harden and an MVP candidate which is what a lot of people in this thread apparently believe.
Somewhere in this thread someone said they would take George over Durant. No logical basketball fan doubts George is a hell of a player, it's just annoying seeing people trash our star while overhyping another player.
There's no when or if. Consistency is the key of the game. George CONSISTENTLY does both at a high level. He's a better overall player than Harden. Harden is a better individual offensive player, but George is an all-star level offensive player this year. He ranks top 5 in scoring, on a team that is mediocre offensively.
Yeah I don't get why people want to ignore that Paul George is currently a top 5 scorer in the NBA. Now you add that he is a way better defender than Harden and this is not even a legit question. George>Harden 7 days a week.
