I know. Why the F is there a pic of Kobe sitting on the bench on ESPN's NBA page? Should be Rox-Spurs

That's like saying the Heat can be a contender without Lebron, they just need to find someone to replace Lebron.

Ignore torocan (and the rest of the LOF idiot brigade). He's just a long winded LOF and admitted Knicks fan. He'll figure out any way he can to **** on Harden. Let them talk to themselves

Great win. Beating the Spurs at home is no easy task. Harden proved why he was superstar in the 4th

With 1:46 to go, Ginobili hit us with a three pointer and the Spurs took the lead. Last season that would have been the dagger and we would have lost.

With 0:56 to go, Harden hit em with a three pointer and tied up the game. Clutch. Then at 0:31 Bev got that tip in to give us the lead. (Insert part here where fake fans say "If Lin was there we'd be up 20," or "McFail put us into that knife-to-the-throat situation to begin with!")

Our team did not fold. They outpowered the Spurs. They've grown. Best win of the season.

Blowing a 17 point 3rd qtr lead was pretty rough. We came back to win but man, you have to play better against the Spurs - they will not let us get such a big lead next time.

Are you purposely trolling? I haven't said a WORD about Lin this entire thread. I actually said that people should STOP talking about Lin either For or against and just enjoy the win.

As for Harden, my only complaints are consistent defensive effort (something glaring enough for people to make an entire Youtube video from ONE game) and that he sometimes goes ISO too early and often at the end of game.

If you're going to call someone out, do it when there's an actual discussion. Taking potshots at me in a thread for something I have NOT done in that thread is a pitiful attempt at trolling.

    Pot meet kettle.

If I had a 1,000,000 bucks I would bet he read the negative post about Harden by torontoman and confused it for your name. Either that or he just felt like trolling a postgame thread that has been pretty great so far.

Literally the Lakers' fight for 8th seed is going to be a ten times bigger media story than whatever the Rox do this season.

This is the NBA, teams will make their runs. The Spurs also had plenty of help from the refs.

Yeah Lin blasted them in a losing effort.

Agreed Parker is a monster, nobody can stop that joker one on one. As you seen, it took a team effort to stop him in the 4th.

A win is a win, that's all that matters. It would have been even sweeter if we would've blown them out. But we all knew they were going to make their run. Great counter on our part towards the end, which resulting in a victory.

The next game on the 25th will be exciting.

We need to get Harden and Howard integrated in our offense. The bench players moved the ball so nicely, these guys hold the ball too much and stagnate our offense.

We'll get enough coverage in May and June.

I am sorry but Harden is not the answer when there is a lull in the offense... (perhaps teamball is) ....Harden proved it time and again hes not the answer...this was one of those rare nights when he was the answer...most often he would overdribble, over iso and overshoot fadeaway 3s-us into defeat...

Clippers, dallas, lakers, SAS 2nd qt 20pts lead meltdown and many games of the last season showed that clearly...

especially in the playoffs the Beard is not the answer cause in the playoffs he wont get half calls hes getting in regular season.

Let's face it: cities like New York, LA and DC don't think much of the state of Texas in general, don't know the difference between Houston and Dallas. Texas means the Bush family, mechanical bulls and the death penalty to a lot of people. (I'm originally from the DC area, lived in Houston for seven years, but not now.) The Spurs always "fly under the radar" too.

Rockets just beat the best team in the league BECAUSE OF Harden. Really unbelievable that people can still hate him.

I don't think the Spurs are a team we're going to beat with any one person. We beat the best team in the NBA because our team as a whole outplayed their team as a whole.

HOWEVER, I'm not trying to nitpick- I agree with the point you're trying to get across. While I can understand some of the criticism Harden gets, there's no doubt that he's our best player right now and one of the best in the NBA.

As for the criticism I agree with- I do wish he'd make better decisions more often. He doesn't make a ton of bad ones, but more than a superstar should- however, I think this is more of an experience thing. Once he has a year or two more under his belt with this team, those mistakes will probably wane for the most part.
