Well, I am much more impressed with Parsons than you are. I think he's played well all year, not just this game. His three point shooting was off early in the year, but now is almost 40%. Parsons keeps the entire offense moving, he never stops running.

His value is what an NBA team is willing to pay him. He may be worth only 6 mil to you, but I predict that some NBA team will pay him close 10 million. And I think he's worth every penny.

10 million is close to all star level. that will be a huge mistake. parsons aint going to get much better, unless he develops a good post game. but then we have dwight in the middle. his handles are weak, defense is overrated. he will lose a step which will effect his fast break game, his strongest point. he's a good role player, not allstar.

one major injury can ruin parsons career, which relies on his athelticism which is at its peak. not going to get better.

LOL at you guys that consistently underrate Parsons and acts like what he is doing is no big deal. You are really showing your basketball ignorance or you are proving you have an agenda.

Chandler has such a complete game it's crazy. The guy is not consistent? Really? He consistently shows up huge in big games (last night was no exception) and his play-off numbers jumped last season.

You can have your opinion but I will stick with the guy that consistently runs the floor and averages 17PPG, 4APG, 5 RPG, .532FG% and .390 3PT%. I'll just keep laughing at you guys while the Rockets just keep winning with Chandler.

Parsons is so good off the ball. When you have a ball dominant guy like Harden, the perfect fit next to him is in the mold of Chandler Parsons.

I underrated the guy. He is borderline all-star. He may make one before his days are over.

I'm afraid you don't exactly have a grip on the reality of the market (or on Parsons' true value). Look at what comparable players are making. Nicolas Batum signed a contract (in restricted free agency, no less) worth $46 million over 4 years. Gordon Hayward just turned down a 4-year, $40 million plus extension.

You can argue all day how Parsons is only a role player and has no star potential (which I fully disagree with), but the fact of the matter is that he WILL get paid at least $11-13 million a year, and that's only fair market value.

Amen, he has become a borderline star player.

One major injury can ruin anyone's career. Parsons' game isn't that heavily dependent on his athleticism, rather on bball iq.

I've seen this so many times over the last 2 years it isn't even funny. He got off to a slow start when his shot wasn't falling, but now he's right back to the high performance. He keeps getting better, and he's clutch. Only flaw he has is that he needs to bring it on D like he did his rookie year.

Fact of the matter is that if Parsons was black people wouldn't have these doubts.

Batum is a much better player than Parsons.

Based on what. Now if you think Batum is better OK, but it isn't as if he's on another level from Chandler.

Parsons TS% is up to 63% this year, and for all of this team's supposedly terrible defensive players we have the 12th rated defense.

Put Batum on the Rockets and he will average just as many points as Parsons but with better defense, shot block, assists and rebounding. If Batum is worth $11m than even $8m is overpaying for Parsons.
