    I was able to beta test for them and I must say this website is going to be awesome. It pulls adds of Craigslist and someother classfied sites and puts them in a much easier and usudble layout. Also has comment features and will be having their own classifieds. Will also have feature as where you save a search like James Harden rookie card and it will notify you if an ad is placed.

    Thryfter does look better than Craiglist based on the video.
    I like Craigslist and I have used them to buy and sell stuff but they need to move on and upgrade if they want to continue operating. Seems like they are still stuck in the AOL/Dial-Up era and refuse to move on.

    I like the idea of required registrations and rating buyers/sellers.
    Also the various ways to communicate other than email (or posting your # in the ad) are a plus.

    So you expect craigslist to just sit back and allow another site to use its listings like that?

    how does a regurgitated craigslist ad on a new site take away of the nuances of getting scammed or the awkwardness of meeting a complete stranger for a cash transaction, if it was originally posted on craigslist in the first place?

    When someone says "next and much better than", uses the word "awesome", starts the post with the sign up link, tries to lure people with "James Harden rookie card" and ends the post with his name, I automatically assume he's part of the site he's advertizing.

    Why was my post moved to hot deals and classifieds, I'm not selling anything.

    Yea I manage a oil rig, not advertise for a dot com. I enjoyed the website and know others will too so thought I would share.

    Hello World

    Hello All! Firstly, I just noticed that if you google my website I just launched (whose name I wont mention, so you don't lump me into being an advertiser, please) that this thread shows up no. 1 on page rank. Ha!

    I'm simply writing to say that the OP actually IS my brother-in-law, he does not have any investment in the company nor own any of it, and he certainly did do beta testing for me. Plus the product IS 100% legal. Trust me, I did my homework and worked with lawyers and a subsidiary company that already got in trouble with CL in supreme court and won. Look it up. :)

    Anyway, Jonathan is an honest guy and just wanted to thank everyone for the support and thanks to anyone who signed up. That is all! :cool:
