    Luol Deng is a legit two way player. Chandler isn't better than him IMO but he could get there someday with more consistency on the defensive end.

    poor defense
    poor ball handling
    struggling to create his own offense
    poor rebounder

    These are straight off the bat. I like him, but he is extremely overrated. Any small forward on this offense will get easy points off of fast breaks and open threes. That is why I worry that the Rockets are going to overpay him when his contract ends.

    He is an elite role player.

    Don't worry, Morey would never overpay for a hyped up wing player.

    maybe. but he is also feeding off of Harden and Dwight drawing the entire defense towards themselves. He is a complimentary player not an All star imo, but he might prove me wrong and i hope he does

    Chandler is not an all star but a very good role player and can be a key component on a contending team. I wish his defense was as good as it was his rookie year though. He has grown leaps and bounds on offense but he really has been benefiting from playing with stars the last couple of years (Harden last year and Harden and Dwight this year) and being in a run and gun offense. He's the ultimate role player.

    he signed him to a 5 year 33 million dollar contract using the disabled player exception they got for yao... at the time it was a good risk to take and he would have probably fit in well with yao but that never materialized 14.9 points 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists, those number could have been prob as high as 17 points (1 additional bucket with a healthy yao) and that would have justified alittle over 6 million a year for him. since when did under 7 million a year become overpay and that too using a exception.

    See, now you're just reaching.

    He's far from a poor ball handler...especially for his position. Or does the fact that he brings the ball up at times and can slash for easy buckets not count as ball handling?

    Struggles to create his own offense? I guess within the scope of what he's asked to do, maybe. But again, I would hardly call this "poor".

    Poor rebounder? 5.2 per game at small forward is about average. Does not equate to "poor". Brooks Lopez at 7 ft with 5.9 per game is "poor".

    Poor defender? Back this up with something. I don't see a "poor" defender. Average at worst...but poor is like Aaron Brooks or James Harden when hurt.

    If these guys improves a tiny bit more:

    Harden=>Superstar
    Howard=>Superstar
    Parsons=>Allstar
    Lin=>Allstar

    There are high hopes for all these guys. Only problems will be our cap limitations and the size of their contracts.

    For parsons to be an allstar he has to:

    1. Average something to the tune of 18pts 7rbs 4ast 1.5st 1blk
    2. Rockets have to be top 3 team recordwise
    3. Key forwards in the west are injured
    4. Lin tells his fans to also vote for chandler

    Then the coaches might vote him in as a replacement.
    Although Morey would probably try to drive hid price down somehow

    Counting potential all-stars in the west in the near future.

    Definitely above Parsons in all-star likelihood
    Non-old: Gasol, Davis, Griffin, Aldridge, Love, Howard, Durant.
    Old: Dirk, Duncan

    Possibly on the same level as Parsons or better: Gallinari(next year), Iggy, Batum

    Yeah, it will definitely take injuries/trades to get Parsons into the game in the forseeable future. Unless of course he gets traded to the east.

    According to your logic, you think parsons and lin are playing on the same level ? With all the other PGs in the league you think he's the top 3 in the west to be an allstar with a "tiny" bit improvement?

    barf, Parsons is light years better than Ariza

    Parsons knows he's not Tmac unlike Ariza

    Parsons plays really smart, Ariza tries his hardest to play like a dumbmass

    He parties too much. Once he gets that out of system, I don't see why.
