What a game! Glad Harden is back in time to carry the team on his back. Tony Parker is so much fun to watch. Pop is funny. McHale pulled a Kidd. Everybody else is meh.

Wow what a win! But, I’m a bit worried about all the potential injuries slowly adding up for the players. It took a lot out of them to beat this older Spurs team.

The Spurs have multiple ways to win…they can beat you with defense, inside game from Duncan (as old as he is), a solid PnR game from Parker, AND 3 pointers from their other guys when they really need it. Lastly, their coach, Pop. Yes, they lost this game, but I thought their huge comeback says a lot about their squad, and the game could easily have gone the other way with a few lucky bounces.

When I took a closer look at the box score for the first half, I realized the Rox hit a lot of 3s. I think the team sometimes depends too much on them. It’s great when the team is hitting at a high percentage, but, it can be unsustainable against good teams. Rox don’t have a consistent inside game from Howard, and the team’s overall defense still needs big improvements. The other consistent way the Rox have kept in games, last year and this year, when the 3s aren’t falling, is attacking with Harden, Lin, and Parsons. These 3 guys need to be healthy come playoff time. I’m worried about Parsons now.

A lot to learn from this game for the team. As good as Bev is, I don’t think he can handle the load himself against elite PGs. Lin needs to be his other half (offense), and especially to help out the bench that had half the output as the Spurs’ bench. Also, Howard’s inside game is a big question mark right now in terms of direction. How is it going to affect the team when they really need an inside game?

Great win for the Rockets tonight. Team easily could have folded in the 4th quarter, but showed intestinal fortitude in withstanding the Spurs' run.

I still think spur is a better team, they lost because their shots were not falling in the first half, we are just lucky in the first half.

Instead of trading anybody, I hope everybody stays and given playing time. The season is still too long. Be glad that the Rockets got a lot of interchangeable pieces. Injuries will have less impact this way.

I was ready for the Leonard/Parsons match-up. the way the media and my buddies who are fans of the spurs hop all over Leonard's crotch is mystifying to me. I think Parsons is the better player...

When a defensive colander like Harden is matched up on you its a problem.

I dont see Leonard as the franchise player the spurs prop him up to be. I thought only wood had less personality than Duncan, I was wrong Leonard has less. much less.

I could see Parsons as a franchise player IF a team needed a player that doesn't necessarily have the superstar talent, but needed to appease fans.

Nice win by the Rockets. Fortunately they built up enough of a lead to withstand the Spurs second half surge.

We still have a long way to go in terms of half-court execution. The Spurs are so far ahead of us in this department. Just compare the quality of shots we got to what the Spurs got in the 4th quarter.

14 points in the 4th and like 3 assists. Carried us down the stretch.

Excellent win and Harden was a damn boss out there. Parsons has just been awesome during this streak as well major props.

Also huge respect to the Spurs damn they play some aggressive smart perimeter defense and just strong fundamental basketball.

Still feel as if something is missing with this team...so used to all those years of throwing it into the post with Dream, Barkley, Yao it's still hard to watch this team that just doesn't operate like that, I guess.

That being said bring on Luol Deng; Parsons needs to cut down his minutes but could still move to the 4 at times. So many possible lineups with Ben/Lin and Parsons/Deng depth.

It wasn't so much calling for his head as it was recognizing that Parker was having his way with everyone. McHale sits AB on the bench as the starters let the lead evaporate to 10, he goes cold, (and cold AB is useless) so the obvious choice is go back to Bev.

Bev's got cajones though I must say. I'm not all-in on him as defensive stopper, but his follow-through cannot be questioned. I absolutely want him on the floor under 2 minutes in a Game 7.
