We won this game making 19/30 FT's.

We just made it hard on ourselves

People calling for Beverley's head all game, and then his gritty tenacity pays big dividends in the end. Tradeoffs between Lin and Beverley are fascinating.

Harden made a lot of plays down the stretch as did Beverley who showed great effort play on the tip in and locking down Parker inside of 2 minutes.

Alright. This is what I was waiting for. Thought it might be Jan or Feb, but here it is in November. This is going to be a fun season.

harden just showed us the reason why having stars in this league is important
took over in the forth past teams with kyle lowry or kevin martin would not have the star power to finish like harden just did

We beat the Spurs and the refs. Nice job. Get well, everyone.

PS With Lin, Parsons, Garcia all hurt, and Beard not 100%, should we call Troy Daniels up for a 10-day?

Definitely needed Harden for the win. Although he had 31 points, I like Parsons for Houston player of the game. Big clutch 3 by Harden but he was sub-par at the line. Good game for Jones, still managed to score in double figures. Bev came up big and really tightened up the D on Parker making him work a little harder the last 3 minutes of the game.

I think Manu, with his 11 assists, can show Harden how to get to the next level as a team player. He's still, even older and losing a step or 2, a better team player than Harden and I think their games have similarities but he isn't as ball dominant.

The good thing about this team is that we have enough players to win games even injury bug hit the team.

I've been enjoying it the whole way. I never criticized the team a single time. Love the Rockets just as they are: McHale, Harden, Howard, Lin, all of them. Agreed?

imagine pop coaching Lin.. Lin would turn into one tough sob or if he played with KOBE. Pop gets on Parker yelling in his face all the time

    Hard-fought, gritty tough-as-nails win.

We got a couple of calls go our way at the end, but damn, Harden is the da man! Wish he could have made some more FTs, but I'll take it anyway, because the ones that mattered went in - TY, Dwight.

That was a punk-ass move by Duncan on Cisco. Refs should have called that ****e.

great game. spurs are the team to beat this year besides pacers and heat.

We kicked their ass in their own house.

Hardn looked great and howard had his moments. This was a test game and we passed with flying colors.

I knew spurs would make a run and the test was how we responded. The end result was the scoreboard and popovich gave us his best shot. Parker and duncan and even bellinelli are all looking good but we still beat them.

To be honest, I think Dwight did a tremendous job in this game. Defensively he's been absolutely superb. If you actually look at the individual plays, Dwight's trying his very best on the defensive end - he just can't cover up for every single one of his teammate's mistakes (sometimes very egregious), especially by Harden and Jones.

Offensively he's working extremely hard to pin down his man and establish very deep post position, but too often the pass just doesn't come or comes way too late. On numerous possessions you can see him pinning down his man, only to have one of the guards miss the pass, try to re-establish post position, and then finally having to come out to set a pick for the guard or watch somebody jack up another three.

I'm seriously impressed that Howard has been putting his head down, not whining, not complaining, but just doing work.

Make no mistake: Howard contributed as much to this win tonight as did Harden.

Brewer should get some minutes as wing defender. Move Casspi to the SF and we get a backup 3. Play DMo as a backup 4.
