Our guys flop a lot and that needs to be called out.

However we're not alone in this problem. I've had to turn down Utah and Dallas broadcasts multiple times due to annoyance. I also remember being irritated by Portland and LA Clippers crews, but I can't remember exactly. Homerism is a natural product of traveling with the team and being part of an organization, unfortunately.

I'd rather deal with Bill's whining than the whining in this thread. How is this not locked up? The way y'all whine about every freaking thing, I wouldn't mind having y'all leave too...

And quite frankly, Bill is a legend. Being in Austin, it kinda feels like home hearing the crew call games. Go listen to a Spurs broadcast then you'll be thankful.

It would be even better if they knew what a real flop was before criticizing it.

Games should be reviewed and REAL flops (obvious and blatant) need to be fined heavily by the league. But most minor "flops" are not flops to begin with. It's a fast moving game, with heavy bodies, acrobatic moves, and high velocities. Falling down happens.

Bull is always willing to call out flippers on the rockets, he routinely did it to Martin and Lowry

Clyde on the other hand applauds it

    You need to go.

Bill might be a Rox Homer but he has been a part of this orginiztion for a better part of his life so I'm sure he is very biased compared to others.

I personally love him & am glad he has been around through the thick and the thin.

Bill Worrell = Rox Legend

Also, homerism, is a GOOD thing on local telecasts. It helps viewers get into the game. I want my commentators to be fans like me. Not dull and boring

The team accidentally won some games so the "Fire McHale" thread quieted down and every came here to fire somebody else.

Give Bill a break. Everyone needs a job. "Kick him to retirement so I can finally enjoy watching the Rockets, coz I don't enjoy it now!"

Can't you freakin the enjoy the games? What more do you need, Dom Perignon and four babes giving you a full-body massage?

"Well, it was called by a woman."

In reference to Dwight being called for an offensive foul for lightly moving Lopez's hand off his back.

    Keep Bill in Houston!

Looks like the tread needs to be retitled Worrellisms the way this is going.

This! Sheesh! The nit-picking from the nit-wits has gotten totally out of hand.

Clyde said come on man, and Bill said you can't say man because it was a woman. He didn't outright say she only made the call because she was a woman, although I'm pretty sure he implied it LOL.

I'm sure there are plenty of women that can call a game, I have trouble believing Violet Palmer is the best they can do.

That makes me wonder if you know how greater than and less than signs work.
