That sucks. We really didn't need him, and he could/should have sat a lot sooner.

At this point, I'd prefer to just sit him and semi-forfeit the Spurs game. We're likely underdogs even with Harden at full health and no Lin. This is the perfect sit-him game.

Damn. I'm starting to think that he'll need to rest for a long time - a month, maybe two - before his feet have recovered.

...McHale clearly hates Lin and think he sucks. He hates him so much he thinks that with Jeremy, the team can carry the load without Harden.

He's had this since training camp. I'm worried that this is going to just come and go the entire season.

I don't see him taking an entire month off for this thing to heal.

I say we just rest Harden for another 2-3 weeks and nip this injury in the bud. AB and PB should be able to keep us on track till then.

I think Harden should be resting. Rockets played the Nets, who is worst than terrible. 100m payroll down the toilet. Well, just a NY traditional. Welcome to the big apple.

Looks like Harden would start playing tomorrow anyway, with or without Jeremy, so he came back one day early. It's McHale's knee-jerk reaction. We're playing the Nets without D-Will. Could have rested Harden for another day.

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Rockets&amp;src=hash">#Rockets</a> McHale said he was happy to have Harden at 25 mins, goal was &lt; 30. Had Lin not gotten hurt,he might've given it 1 more day of rest</p>&mdash; AdamWexlerCSN (@awexler) <a href="https://twitter.com/awexler/statuses/406626781433974784">November 30, 2013</a></blockquote>

People on here are WAYYYYYY overdramatic. He's fine. If the team doctors say he's good to go, there's zero problem.

No, I don't think so. Harden is our most valuable player. We know he can play. This is not the issue. We just don't want this injury to reoccur especially during the latter half of the season or in the playoffs. He needs to heal completely imo.

Zero-problem players don't dip their feet into a mop-bucket. You can get infection or toenail fungus from that thing.

Throughout the league you see mediocre coaches overplaying their stars. Don't know why anyone expects any different from McHale.

Is it possible that some folks have a different view than yours with regards to his coaching?
