On the surface, the delay doesn't seems to be a 'smart' thing to do if nba money & glory are the only considerations. Perhaps he wants to win a NCAA championship, or perhaps even for staying in school for education. Heard rumor that Parker is talking about staying more than 1 year at Duke. There are family expectations too and Parker's mom is known to be very insistent that he gets a good education which is the reason why he chose Duke over others.

Not putting Smart in Tier 1 is foolish. You obviously have seen the guy play enough.

Butler had his number today and he could have handled it a little better.

Butler would have won if they had more players that could score. They have no margin for error against good teams.

Neither Dunham or Marshall had productive games: it's not often that a team has a chance to win despite mediocre games from its two leading scorers. In any case, Oklahoma State was fortunate to have escaped with a win against a good Butler squad that will likely be a factor for the entire season.

Don't know where to post this, but this thread was best I could find... Smart just lost his mind. In a 2-point game with eight seconds to go, he just went into the stands in Lubbock and shoved a fan in the chest. Complete meltdown.

    He's got some issues.

See, this is why it's better for teams to tank instead of fighting for the 8th or 9th seed.
