During the three year stretch when the Rockets were just over .500 and 9th in the West, each season they would have been no lower than 6 in the East, where the 7 and 8 seeds are routinely under .500.

The Leastern Conference is pretty embarrassing.

I thought so too, but then again Sacramento has been terribly coached since Adelman left more or less.

Keep resting Harden! We are playing great basketball right now. Once we start losimg throw him back in and he can give us another spark.

Love to see AB playing like the AB of a few years ago when he won MIP. Love seeing Asik looking like he is enjoy playing. TJones starting out like an all-star in the 1st half was awesome. The depth on the Rockets is really good.

We have 3 calibare starting PG. Brooks 3pt specialist and great at getting to the rim, Lin a great scorer/passer and Bev the defensive ace. I don't think we understand how lucky we are. McHale needs to keep Brooks in the flow for rest of the season. He is a great scorer and shooter.

Jones showed tonight that we don't need Millsap and Asik showed again why I would want to keep him instead of giving him away.Garcia was finally back to Garcia of last season. Great shooter.

The Hawks and Nets are awful u people act like u r shocked. Do . we will win vs Nets u guys watch other games besides the Rockets. We played well against a team with no true center missing a key player and sucks with them anyway. Some of u act like we just won the championship vs Michael Jordans Bulls

Looking at this game Lin and AB can run the offense and both can score. Brooks is a beautiful shooter. Patrick has problems running an offense. His shot is good, and sometimes his floater will fall and he's good for offensive rebounds and sometimes tip ins, but he doesn't really run the floor. The team would not have fared well without AB tonight even though Garcia did great tonight scoring 21. I love Bev for energy, tenacity, intangibles and enthusiasm, but he's not a floor general. Team definitely needs Lin or Harden in to play the Spurs, preferably both.

You could be right. Things seem to flow smoother with Asik.

We smashed Denver and they are one of the form teams of the NBA. The C's game was another smashing and we had Dallas by the balls up 19 and if it wasn't for Dirk and Ellis going beserk we would be on a 9 game wining streak.

Atlanta is really a bad defense team, if you watched the game tonight.

Solid assessment. If AB wasn't around, this game would have easily gone to the Hawks....glad Garcia showed up tonight.

You're totally wrong with this. It's nothing like that. I just love a team that plays like a team. Everybody is sharing the ball and you see the results. The game looks so effortless. You can see that the players (all of them) are having a good time. That's why I like it.

Someone would have to be damn near dead not to be excited about this team. Sure, we blew some leads and lost a few earlier this season that we should have parked in the win column, but this is easily the best team we've had in years. What flips me out is how good we'll be when the team really jells. We've only played 16 games! :)-
