Memories of Andrew Toney, one of my favorite players and a great comparable to Harden in terms of high shooting percentage, large number of fouls drawn, high assist numbers (for a shooting guard), high turnovers, and mediocre defense, at this stage of their careers. If Harden could develop a post game ala Toney, he will be all that much better. Toney succumbed to undiagnosed stress fractures in his feet or else he would've played at extraordinary levels for another decade and had a shot at the HOF. Harden needs to rest up, as there is no easy cure.

Harden draws triple team and zillions of defense yet he still has that efficiency. That's superstar thingy. Hard to deny.

If you have a superstar and no teamball then you end up like the Knicks. Having said that, the superstar absolutely need to involve other players or at least have a chemistry where everyone's roles are defined.

He should rest a few more games tbh - come back too soon will aggravate it.

I honestly don't see what is wrong with his feet in this picture. Is it the toes? Because that's how my toes look when I curl them up...

    Uh oh

Totally agree. We don't want this injury to be aggrevated and last a long time.

Iono...maybe swollen ankle? Injury is to the foot though so I guess that wouldn't be it...

Seems in the pic he's just curling the toes because he's about to put on socks...

I'm reading way too much into this.

Nah brah, It's about talent and history.

History shows that playing team ball and having no go-to player doesn't get you very far.

The Nuggets last year were the perfect example. They played perfect team ball...they lost to the Warriors because why? A guy named Steph Curry.

Those comparing Harden to KMart did not watch Rockets basketball before last year

simple as that, no one can make such a stupid statement

If you even watched one game of KMart, you know he is very limited but great at what he does, which is moving without the ball, shoot threes, leak out on fastbreaks and draw fouls. That's it, he offers nothing else

He has never created his own shot, never a good passer, can't really score in the fourth quarter when he doesnt get the calls, and plays even worse defense than Harden simply because he's 190 pounds.

if he comes back too early again, that injury is going to nag him for the whole season.

And if you replaced Lebron James with Kevin Martin you can make the same statement.
