He's always been a troll. Hates the SEC. He thought the refs gave Bama the National Championship game last year.

As much internet head you give Winston it's no wonder why you think it's impossible that he would ever need to rape anyone.

    Jameis Winston decision pushed

The state attorney's office investigating the sexual assault allegations against Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston says the timeline for making a decision on whether to bring charges could now be two weeks or more.

Contributing to the delay is the fact that one of the top assistants is involved with a capital murder case next week.

"Believe it or not, we have other cases we're involved with; we haven't shut down our office to focus entirely on this case," William Meggs, state attorney for the Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee, Fla., told ESPN.com.

Meggs told The Associated Press last week that there were still "four or five" things that needed to be done before a decision could be made on potential charges.

"We're waiting on some things and we still have some loose ends to tie up," he told ESPN.com last week.

The office is still waiting on some evidence to arrive, Georgia Cappleman, chief assistant state's attorney for Leon County, told CBSSports.com on Tuesday.

Jameis Winston in 2 minor incidents

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was involved in two minor incidents unrelated to an investigation into accusations that he sexually assaulted a woman, though he was not arrested or charged in either case, police records show.

In the first case, Winston and other FSU players were questioned by police in November 2012 after 13 windows were broken at an apartment complex near Doak Campbell Stadium after an apparent BB gun battle. In the second case, a Burger King employee called police in July to complain that Winston was stealing soda. The Associated Press obtained the records from Tallahassee city officials after filing a request.

Attorney Timothy Jansen, who is representing Winston in the sexual assault investigation, said he was unaware of the incidents.

    ...

In the BB gun investigation, Tallahassee police records show officers were called to the Legacy Suites apartments on Nov. 27, 2012, two days after management said 13 windows had been damaged by players shooting at each other.

Both Winston and his roommate at the time, defensive end Chris Casher, told officers the next day that they had been involved in a series of "battles" involving other FSU players that had been going on for a month. They denied shooting any BB guns themselves but said someone threw eggs at their window and shot at them with a paintball launcher.

Police found BBs littering the ground and saw windows in several apartments with small holes.

Police records show the apartment manager, Dave Sudekum, initially wanted to evict Winston and three other tenants but decided to not press charges after an FSU athletic department official promised that the players would pay for the damage.

Sudekum initially told a reporter this week that a previous management company had been involved. When told his name was on the report, he then said he couldn't remember the incident, which happened the day after FSU lost to Florida. Winston, a redshirt freshman this season, did not play in the game. FSU athletic department officials have not responded to emailed questions about the incident.

In the Burger King incident, Winston came in with three men but did not order food. An employee, who recognized him, first saw him using ketchup cups to take soda. He asked for a water cup after she told him to stop, but he said he would use it for soda and filled it repeatedly with soda over her objections, the report said.

The report says Winston was never interviewed about the incident because the restaurant declined to prosecute.

State Attorney Willie Meggs said Wednesday that he doubted the BB gun incident would have much bearing on the sexual assault investigation.

Attorney Patricia Carroll, who is representing the accuser in that investigation, did not return calls for comment.

Y'all need to remember FSU wins are a little different, Clemson beat a fully healthy Georgia (Gurley and all), and Miami had their best offensive player go out in the 2nd half (Duke Johnson). FSU beat these teams 51-14 and 41-14. closest margin all year 14 and next is 27. They have been destroying teams left and right and have proven their worth.

With that said Ohio State is the best... Go Buckeyes!!! Bama will lose to Auburn...Ohio State vs FSU and we will win!!!

same thing the media pulled with zimmerman/trayvon case, they are bringing up old things to try and make the rape believable, just like they tried to make it believable that Trayvon assaulted Zimmerman when he was walking home. Has nothing to do with that case, how about we bring up the accuser's past... oh no, because she has the complexion for the protection... if meggs had any evidence on winston he would have charged.... typical smear campaign

watch what they do to teddy bridgewater next year in the nfl if he goes to the worst team in the nfl and doesnt win right away.... the powers that be dont want the qb position be overtaken by people of color like the pg position was in the nba

    Winston lawyer wants decision soon

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The lawyer for Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston met with the state attorney Wednesday, hoping to expedite the two-week timetable for a decision on whether charges would come from an investigation into accusations that the Heisman Trophy candidate sexually assaulted a woman.

Attorney Tim Jansen said he was alarmed by the expected delay by Willie Meggs' office and the impact the ongoing probe could have on Winston's Heisman candidacy and the unbeaten Seminoles' quest for a berth in the BCS title game.

"We expressed our concerns that the delay would affect Mr. Winston's reputation, voters in the Heisman and Florida State's ability to go to the national championship game," Jansen said Wednesday. "We're hoping this cloud can be lifted sooner rather than later."

Meggs' office said Tuesday that it would be at least two weeks before it decides whether to bring charges, which would put any potential finality to the investigation beyond the deadline for voters for both the Heisman and final BCS polls.

The deadline to vote for the Heisman is Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. ET, the day after the BCS bowl matchups are finalized. The Heisman will be awarded Dec. 14 (ESPN, 8 p.m. ET).

Jansen wouldn't discuss details of his meeting with Meggs, but he said he believed there was a possibility Meggs' office could make a decision ahead of the timetable it issued.

"I think everybody wants to get this resolved. Fans, law enforcement, Mr. Meggs. Everybody wants to get this resolved and make a decision and go from there," Jansen said.

    ...

Jansen said he has worked to keep details of the investigation private, but the delays in a decision on whether Winston will be charged combined with the timing of the Heisman voting and the release of the final BCS standings have created significant problems.

"That is the most difficult thing in this case," Jansen said. "If it was somebody else, and it wasn't the scenario we have with the Heisman Trophy and the national championship -- but that's something I have to consider and something I'm constantly taking into account."

Jansen has said Winston had sex with the accuser but that it was consensual. Beyond that, however, neither Winston nor Florida State officials have spoken publicly about the case.

On Wednesday, Winston said he hoped Heisman voters would consider his success on the field and reward his entire team with the trophy.

"Just look at our success," Winston said. "See the hard work and dedication we've put in, the leadership I've instilled, and that we can keep this process going. ... I'm a team man, and this award is more for my team."

The Heisman trust's nine-member committee would be responsible for determining what would happen if Winston is charged after the voting closes.

"We have a long-standing policy not to comment on hypothetical situations," Heisman Trophy coordinator Tim Henning told ESPN's Brett McMurphy on Wednesday. "Any discussion of a potential revote would have to be made by the Heisman Trophy trust. At the end of the day, the trust makes all decisions to anything pertaining to the Heisman."

There has never been a revote in the history of award, which was first handed out in 1935. Only one winner -- USC's Reggie Bush -- has "forfeited the title" as Heisman winner, Henning said.

Auburn does not have to be the better team to win it just has to be better that game. As an Ohio State fan I hope that is true because we are not jumping over anyone. If Bama/FSU/Ohio St. loses then we can have a legitimate national title game without argument over which team is better. Think Auburn when they had Jason Campbell Ronnie Brown and Cadillac hindsight it was a dominant team but they did not get a chance.

Black qbs you might be on to something but there are plenty of black athletes that are loved. Andre Johnson, Dream, Earl Campbell, David Robinson etc.
