Do you guys really want more aggies on this team? Think about how many games we have lost because of aggies. Not just our FG kicker mind you, but our absolute dunce of a head coach who probably can't repeat the alpha bet without a teleprompter or note cards. These guys could **** up a ham sandwich, I'm not joking, either.

How about we think big and go after people who come from real colleges, with real credentials, like the Rockets did with Daryl Morey? Is it really a knock on Texas to recruit real people in our football programs? I know people here have a lot of pride in our football programs, I do too. But the reality is that the NFL is a business, and you cannot trust aggies to run your business or else you will be out of business very soon. Aggies are some of the dumbest people on earth, they fall somewhere between a june bug and an Iraqi on the evolution scale.

The Texans' best player is an Aggie.

On a serious note Lechler has been more consistent than Andre or Watt this season.

He's certainly had plenty of opportunities to shine.

McClain is already greasing the wheels with his new article on Manziel. You have to be a paid subscriber to read it though.

In their two years together, A&M hasn't finished better than third in their division. Sounds like they'd fit right in.

You can check out the article here.

The LSU game might make people rethink how his game would translate to the NFL. Some scouts were saying you could see his eye level drop due to the rush and was quick to run against the Tigers. That is a recipe of getting hurt early and often in the pros.

I just want us to have a draft in 2014 like we had in 2006. We need it after the leaks we sprung this year.

This year's draft netted 2.5 players: Hopkins, Swearinger, and Griffin (who I think will move up the depth chart next year to be the primary number 2 TE behind Graham).

Whoever comes in next year will hopefully have Williams and Quessenberry back healthy and ready to contribute to go along with the 2014 draft picks. Hopefully, a big infusion of talent will help ease the pain of the collapse that was the 2013 (unlucky number?) Texans season.

How good your team is, much less how well your perform in college (crazy as that sounds) - don't usually mean a whole lot to NFL scouts. Cutler's team sucked - drafted high, plays well. Jason White's team was amazing, he was amazing, never played a down. Tom Brady, an NFL talent, fought to start at Michigan, now he's good.

You guys are underestimating the innate ability to 'feel' the rush while looking downfield. It's hugely important to extend the play and let your WR's work to get open. Romo, Rodgers (Tarkington) Russell Wilson have it and so does Johnny Football. Those guys are just superior athletes. They seem to have great field vision and can find guys right as they break open and have the ability to get the ball into the spot.

But I think the most deciding and rarest ability for an NFL QB is reading defenses, like Manning and Brady. To be able to anticipate which read progressions to go through before the snap gives a distinct advantage. I don't know if that takes a particular intelligence or just the work ethic to to learn but the great QB's do it and the great college QB's that don't excel in the NFL don't.

If I am drafting a QB I would try to evaluate that as much as size, arm strength, escapability or college success. Gruden seems to do this in his pre-draft QB show, but I think he doesn't say anything negative about any of them for public consumption.

Everybody Gruden evaluates is going to the hall of fame... Manziel ain't schooling NFL defenses like he does in college, them boys will eat his lunch.

I'll go ahead and give myself credit for calling this one. There was absolutely no way he was leaving Aggie Land for at least 3 more seasons... It was pretty obvious.
