Closest thing to real Mexican food here in town. There's one in Pasadena and past that I would say my moms kitchen , she makes awesome food.
Man, Hugo's looks good. I'm going to have to try that place. My favorite of all time has been Pico's MexMex. http://www.picos.net/ I love a good taqueria like La TapatÃa (or similar) for good, cheap MexMex, but Pico's has stuff like you'll find nowhere else. Well, except apparently Hugo's.
Hugo's blows everything else out of the water. Y'all jabronis need to get inside the loop for once in your lives and try real food. Their Sunday brunch is insanity. Definitely go for brunch. Life changing experience. Don't wear your Texans jersey or UT trucker cap, it isn't Carlos Mencia's restaurant.
Any Mexican restaurant that has "brunch" is not a real Mexican restaurant in my book. Sound more like a gringo hangout with no Mexicans except for the servers.
Nah, you're just mad because I was being a dick. I don't like brunch either, it's for chicks, but I've got at least 25% Mexican in my blood and I know good food. Their brunch is insanity. INSANITY! http://hugosrestaurant.net/brunch.html
