See...that's the kind of behavior white knights hate. Doing everything for Carrie, asking "nothing" in return, and then she bangs some one night stand douche who she meets at a liquor store. Spoiler No wonder Quinn wanted to be the one to shoot her.
No, she didn't meet him in a liquor store...she actually met him on Tinder and courtesy-swiped him because of their shared interest in banging terrorists. One of his facebook pictures showed his apartment wall decorated with 70 different colors of bomb vests and it was ON from there. Something tells me that once she has that kid he will be cutting her off though, for obvious reasons. Would be creep-city if he were to be friends with that icky middle-aged woman with a kid. Could see some of his lady friends white-dame-ing him in the coming episodes...he's a pretty good looking piece.
This whole thread seems pretty creepy. That said: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9muzyOd4Lh8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<br> I lol'd. If you don't leave her alone she might try to sell you an overpriced apron. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=224067&page=2
Awesome! So happy to hear that things are going great with Clutch! He is really smart and eager to please his masters, so I'm sure he'll do fantastic in training! I wasn't attempting to humiliate DH. I have no beef with DH. He was the one who brought it up, and I interpreted his initial post as trying to humiliate or poke fun at me. He was the one who brought up the married with kids, I simply addressed that. I replied completely honest, maybe I should have gave a less honest answer or no answer at all, but those were my thoughts and reasons for "defriending" him at the time 3-4 yrs ago. I don't think of him as creeper, he obviously passed my initial test as I accepted the request at first. I was just heeding the advice of friend, who probably was just being protective of me as I entered this online community. Maybe his post was misinterpreted, but that's how I read it, as that is the nature of posts often in these threads, & I don't know anything about DH or DH's posting style. Anytime there is a Rocketgirl topic thread or a Red Rowdies thread that spirals into a discussion of me, the same thing happens. People jump in to hate on me, some of my friends on here may say something to defend me, they get called "white knights", and I at some point try my best to reply to all of the hate in a fun & sometimes playfully snarky way, then people back off, and the thread results in some sort of tangent non-related to me. It's how it always go. Since some of you stated that you have no clue who I am, you probably missed those threads & didn't know that. Surprised I didn't see this white knight image posted here yet from a previous Rocketgirl thread http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=7040012&postcount=27 Paige. 3rd year RPD. She was so nice I've seen that sweatshirt on some other fan apparel websites lately. I like the idea of it by making it look like a legit vintage, but I just feel like there could've been better execution. idk Good one. Reminds me of when I watched that series Knight School, on ESPN was it? Funny- I actually hated the color red until I became a Rockets fan. Now it's my favorite and I buy everything red! I don't have any black Rockets gear up for sale, but I could definitely help you find her something that will work. Be careful though, as some of the sports team female fit shirts absolutely suck as far as the fit goes-weird scoop necks, too boxy, awkward lengths. Always make sure you're able to return it if you're gifting it. I have always liked this design of this black shirt. I don't know how it fits though. http://www.rocketsshop.com/Houston_...ockets_Ladies_First_Down_Crew_T-Shirt_-_Black She may get more wear out of a black hoodie or jacket. Not absolutely crazy about this one but not bad. http://www.rocketsshop.com/Houston_...s_Ladies_Primary_Logo_Pullover_Hoodie_-_Black If she's a small, you could definitely pull off buying her some youth apparel. I wear a number of youth Rockets items. Saves some money usually & more variety. There are a lot of grey apparel designs that could work too. http://www.rocketsshop.com/Houston_...rshall_Sanford_Cropped_Dolman_T-Shirt_-_Black I always tell people that I offer a Rockets apparel personal shopping service for free. I'm a loser who spends way too much time scouring the web for what's on the Rockets apparel market. Let me know if you need any more suggestions or have questions Aww thanks Nelly. Will do!
Don't know about other threads, but nobody "hated on you" in this one. Closest that somebody came was the guy who said you were wearing something crazy when he met/didn't meet you at a game years ago. Hence, the "white-knighting", and people rushing to defend you when there was nothing to defend in the first place. Just people looking to get into a lady's good internet graces. Fascinating, yet unsurprising sociological study, if you ask me.
Screw all y'all. This train wreck of a thread kept me awake longer than I should be. It has everything: - Girl on the Internet. - Nostalgia. - Moderator interest. - White knights. - Memes. - People who think posting pictures makes them internet savvy. All we need now are cats and boobs, so:
RG's response to DarkHorse was pretty innocuous (which he took in stride anyway), if anything cardpire's overreaction (to what I guess he interpreted as an affront to DH's honor) is pretty ironic in retrospect, given all the talk of 'white knighting' in this thread
Word up. Being a relatively new CF member, I remember 00rocketgirl primarily by this thread (LINK). I thought the maturity she showed in dealing with the issue at hand was unmatched by any poster on that particular thread. Respect. Plus the fact that she's a super dedicated fan of something she loves doesn't hurt either. If I saw anyone supporting her on this board, things like white-knighting or gender-specific favor wouldn't occur to me.
