They have some killer deals like buy one ipad for 500 and get another for 498.

The best one so far has been get an iphone 5 in a plastic case for 100 after you sign a 2 year contract.

Lots of people read this forum while at work, presumably making money while doing so. If you can make money while waiting in line for BF deals, more power to you.

No comment on the time wasting part :)

Guys, I would really recommend going to: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=cat12090&type=page if you're looking for a laptop at a good price. Just search the stores in your area, then click on the store and go to open box and clearance items. I purchased my Asus with i5, 6gb of ram as well as 500GB HD and hybrid SSD and touchscreen as well for only $470 AFTER taxes. It was a display model, so I only got the laptop and charger, but I have to say I am more than satisfied with it.

The point is, for many people who work, you aren't actually saving money, since you could be making more during the time spent in line, etc. But if you enjoy the shopping experience, it still may be worth it to you regardless.

I have been using a Harmony 650 for years. Easy to use, can support the number of devices you listed.

    http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Harmony-Remote-Control-Silver/dp/B004OVECU0

Never owned it, but I have plenty of personal experience with it (my buddy has used it for the past 3+ years.) It requires a little leg-work to set it up and there is an initial learning curve. However, once you have it running, it is practically flawless.

As an example, my friend's remote was programmed to control a TV, Cable box, AV receiver, PC and 360. He created three separate presets (Cable, PC, 360) and it worked wonderfully.

I honestly see no reason to go for the more expensive models.

I want to go pick up an iPad Air from Target with the $100 gift card.

Can you guys give me an idea if this is an item that would sell out or the kinds of crowds I'd have to wait through to get it?

The black friday ad says the price and offer is good through the 29th; do you think it would be in stock on the 29th? I'm not keen on braving crowds for it, but will if I have to.

Way better than the Dell touchscreen mentioned earlier. ASUS and Lenovo are the two best Wintel laptops IMO. Light, good parts, and well made. Both my daughters have Dell Inspiron laptops... and both have had probs.

I just got an S500CA model not long ago. Loving it so far, but it was quite an upgrade for me too. Love having the touchscreen on a laptop now.
