It's not. I never criticized Lin for anything he did off court - and he's done a lot of celebrity like stuff off court.

All I am saying it's ridiculously to criticize a player for playing poorly while hurt when it's clearly affecting his play. Same way Lin played poorly in the playoffs when he clearly wasn't 100%.

Now if anyone went clubbing during the playoffs, that would make me irrate. But during the regular season? As long as they aren't getting drunk and hungover for practice who cares? People can live their lives. Plus Harden is not stupid enough to dance on a sore foot.

People seem to not understand the difference between a lay person being injured and a professional athlete being injured to the point where they can't play at an elite level, or without risking more serious permanent injury.

There's only one word for people criticizing Harden for living his life while he is resting: Idiots.

I can't see how this is even an issue. As to his rest. My preference would be that he should rest at least till the Spurs game, and longer if necessary. I don't want this to be a lingering problem, better to get it sorted properly now and let him come back only when he is 100% ready to go.

Look at D. Rose. The bulls can forget about a championship for the next couple of years. And the Knicks are stuck with the albatross of Amare's contract around their necks.

Exactly. Also, nobody seems to be criticizing Parsons, who supposedly is dealing with a bad back this season. Why only Harden? Hmm..

This is what NBA players do. They ball. Then they go spend their ungodly amounts of money. Hell, I'd do the same if I were in their shoes. You probably would too. Stop being hypocrites.

    Hope Harden get well soon.

Mchale shouldn't rotate him with 40+ again. This is killing your best scorer.

He should sit at least until the Spurs. At least.
