Manziel will spend most of his NFL career on the shelf

Getting outside of Manziel game, dude would also be a terrible leader and face of a franchise based on his character he's displayed so far. Unless he drastically matures giving him millions of guaranteed money sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Johnny is going to get whoever drafts him fired. See Tebow, Tim.

    Why confused?

I think next year, his salary is bumped to over 4 million...he has a top 5 recruiting class in the country, as well as one of the top QB prospects replacing Manziel...he has the $450 million dollar redevelopment of the new stadium...the Aggie program is on the rise and unless an NFL team is willing to come in and toss $6+ million per year at him, no way he leaves College Station. My guess is that he'll leave A&M in about 3 years.

The way the big mobile LSU line hemmed in Manziel was a bit disconcerting. They are even bigger and faster in the NFL. I wouldn't want to bet against Johnny Football's success, but there are certainly questions. I think he needs another year at A&M.

I'd rather have Clowney and someone like Tahj Boyd in the second.

I'd be down with this plan...I think the difference between the top 5 or so QBs is minimal...and all of them have pretty much equal potential to be very good or below average. If it wasnt such a deep QB draft, I'd be against it, but Im good with the plan of going with the best defender to pair with a QB in the 2nd.

Honestly, I totally see this as a likely scenario. It's unimaginative, so it would appeal to Uncle Bob.

No, no, no... Pathetic d coach who has only one bullet in his gun. Not a bad college offensive coordinator but way over hyped. He is clearly the product of a gunslinging offense that has been fortunate to have mobile gunslingers that create their own. Half of Manziel's play creation is on him. If he was so smart he would figure out a way to play better d.

No, im done with Aggies on this team. Time to give someone else a shot, Mel Gibson could do a better job running this team than the current guys, so I don't have much hope for the future.

And if Bill Belicheck were so smart he would have made the Pats defense better the last several years. (or made better draft picks lol)

    That's a dumb complaint.

I'm not against Sumlin, but I don't want Manziel now that we are likely to be a top 3 pick.

I like Sumlin but I don't understand why he's such a hot prospect right now.

Name one big game he's won besides the Alabama game last year.
