Okay, never mind, you changed your comment. Doesn't karolik have "NO LOFS" in his/her signature? Its going to be a long season if you are going to try and figure out who is a secret LOF.

I just thought it was odd that you'd inject Lin into the conversation when he wasn't being discussed.

Hope it turns out to be an opportunity for Harden to see his teammates do well without him, and learn to trust them more... so he'll help get that ball movement going... happens sometimes when a star goes out for a while

Just let him get his feet healthy.
He's spoken about wanting to be more effective defensively, its impossible if you've got two beat up feet. We're only gonna go as far as Harden and Howard take us.

So is it your assertion that Karolik is a LOF and trying to have it both ways or that he really must hate Harden while loving Lin. Its confusing because, first of all Karolik didnt mentioned Lin nor has he seem to "excuse" Lin yet you quoted him and attacked his post as somehow hypocritical.

Clearly the problem with the Garm isnt just LOF but with people obsessing over them, to the point where threads having nothing to do with either becomes a battleground for LOF vs LOH vs HOF vs HOH vs "true ROF" or whatever other silly acronyms now popular in the GARM.

Harden should just sit for as long as it takes to be fully healthy. That's all there is to it. If he sits for 10 games, we may go 6-4 instead of 7-3. Or we may not even suffer at all if he keeps up his lack of defense.

If Harden's injury is going to be a reoccuring one, then he needs to rest until the team docs says he's good to go. If we continue to play him when he's not fully healed and/or give him heavy minutes and his condition worsens come playoff time, then the GARM will implode and ppl will be calling for McHale's head. Without Harden we are a mediocre team. There I said it.

LOL, the only people mentioning Lin are the ones trying to defend Harden, making it impossible for anyone to criticize Harden without becoming a LOF.

The truth is if Lin went clubbing and was seen dancing around with that injury you'd be irate!! Tell me that's not true......

There is no picture of him dancing. He looks to be standing, but no dancing. Unless you were there to confirm it.

You're right the LOH's just as bad as the LOF's, they shouldn't think as themselves superior because they are exactly the same.

I hope Harden sits until he is all of the way healthy. He really looked good in the preseason, he had better energy and hops, and hopefully when he comes back he will be like that again. We can win for now without Harden, but we need him healthy to have a chance in the playoffs.

We can beat a lot of teams without james, but in a 7 game series where the stakes go higher and game slows down, in the end you are going to need the guy because no one on this team can pick apart the defense like he can on a consistent basis. When he is healthy and has lift in his legs outside of Lebron and probably Durant no one is harder to guard off the dribble or in the open court.

This is the problem with McHale. You watch tonight he'll be playing and then the swelling will probably double and he'll be playing at less then 40%. That's why the mentality of having him out there is better then not is to risky considering we have hedged our bets for the foreseeable future on Harden as the cornerstone of this franchise.

Harden is already breaking down this early in the season. Last year he made it to the second half before slowing down probably being his first year as a starter. He's logging some serious minutes and that is all on Mchale.
I don't understand how any objective fan actually supports Mchale. The guy does not make a good decision, period. Baffling rotations and substitutions followed by heavy usage, no set plays and coddling a handful of players (namely Harden). I can't blame Harden at all for playing that iso-heavy style when no coach is stopping him. Let's not even mention the 3 close losses the Rox have already had due to BS 3-pters that may have been avoided with a foul...Mchale has no backbone and he's got to go.

Ball movement and team play is better with him off the floor so he needs to take AS MUCH TIME AS NEEDED

Repped for some keen insight into the dysfunction of the GARM.

    This.

Some people have already forgotten how good Harden is when healthy. These lasting very sub-par games are not representative of his superstar qualities.

You really can't blame Harden for the Isos because McHale really doesnt have any plays. Hes basically letting Harden do whatever he wants out there

Mchale always complains about the ball being sticky, when in reality he relies and expects Harden to put the team on his back and carry the, to victory because the game slows down in the 4th quarter and defences intensify. This is when coaches earn their bread with plays and defensive adjustments.

I'm not convinced that it's a lack of discipline from Harden, more like the team don't have any better ideas.

Our coaching staff should be drawing and calling plays to get Harden easy shots or opening up the floor for him to be able to drive one on one. Or atleast let harden/Dwight draw double teams and then make the extra pass to find the open man.
