Keenum deserves critisism no doubt and its looking more and more that they need to get QB as number one draft pick, but you can't deny the garbage around him either. This season has not only been a breakdown at the QB position but the organization has been exposed for the bad organization they are who really didn't set this team up for a long run of good seasons at all. The last couple of years under this regime was fools gold. This team didn't have as much talent as people thought they did. Texans need to start all over everywhere almost.

umm are you not watching ? doesn't matter who the QB is if the line doesn't drastically improve .. deep qb draft is all the more reason to take one in the 2nd

Newton has been getting beat for 2 years now... this is nothing new.

Just more noticeable when the QB runs backwards.

But you always go QB! It took us forever to build around Mario Williams... It took Indy one to build around Luck!

I'm not saying Bridgewater is Luck but if you have confidence in one of the QBs being a Pro-Bowler you take him everytime.

Lol, Watt isn't going anywhere. Not sure why so many people think he is, this isn't the NBA. You really don't choose where you want to go.

Franchise players just don't up and go. "Hey, let me go play for the Patriots!"

I wouldn't waste a high pick on a QB... not in a QB loaded draft.

I'd actually shore up the defense, and look for vets to plug into the line (while hoping that Quissenberry and/or Williams can bounce back and contribute).

If Schaub comes into this game, the line play will "seem" better. Having a QB with the ability to make quick decisions at the line (like Peyton does) hide a lot of line deficiencies.

Why is everyone piling on Keenum?

It's one bad game, albeit against the Jags. Are we going to discount his game against the Chiefs?

I think that's a reason to take one early. Yes, only 1 or 2 might become elite. And those players are almost always drafted early. Saying "It's a deep QB draft, we can grab one in the 2nd or 3rd) is falling into a trap. Maybe you can get a Kaepernick (2nd round) or Wilson (3rd) but the odds are heavily slanted that if only a couple of the QBs in this draft class pan out, that they'll be the ones taken at the top of the 1st round.
