I really hope Schaub doesn't come back and play well, and someone ends up our QB for next season. If Kubiak is still a member of this staff then we are screwed.
You just have to laugh. How are they not prepared for this? I think it's official, the coaching staff knows they are done here, but you'd think they might want to get it together for future jobs.
There are two this year... Atlanta was actually a more favored team to go to the Super Bowl than the Texans were.
But what makes you think the texans are taking a QB guys... we are going for the right tackle watch. Only the Texans would do such a thing in one of the deepest QB drafts in NFL history.
John McClain @McClain_on_NFL It might help Keenum if his blockers could hold their blocks for at least a 10th of a second.
Just for comparison, Carson Palmer threw for 420 on this Jags D last week. And 2 weeks ago Ryan Fitzpatrick went 22/33 for 264 yards and 2 TDs.
Every time I lower my expectations for the Texans, they suck their way to a lower level of play. If they lose today, there's no reason to believe they'll win another game, and that means the Texans can get Bridgewater. Or Clowney! Where have we seen that debate before?
I wouldn't fault the coaching staff for making a change here. They haven't been able to execute a game plan against one of the worst teams in football.
Is derek newton even playing. As soon as Keenum hikes the ball he is getting pressured. Not to mention lunes is calling his crappy dink and dump game
Our defense is sucking ass...our linebackers have no discipline at all...it's coaching...this team just flat out sucks
You realize that a deep QB draft is a reason NOT to waste an early pick on a QB. Again, chances are only 1 or 2 QB's end up as a Pro-Bowl type player, despite the depth of the draft.
