I am not the type of person to what these movies, but the first hunger games movie I really really liked, so i went to see this one.

what i will say is that you can really tell these movies are adapted from a book series, there seems to be a huge amount of backstory and not really a satisfying ending, and i really wished I hadn't got roped into it.

I would rather have waited for all the movies to come out and watch him 1 by 1. but even then i don't think id like it. it really feels like this book series was 1 book, that was strung out into 3 books and i don't really care about the plot going forward.

    dumb.

Managed to watch it twice in the cinema and I actually liked it a lot. I think they managed to squeeze in enough of the details that were in the book. Also, Jennifer Lawrence is smokin hot!

Jennifer Lawrence is the modern day Goldie Hawn, which is big shoes to fill if you remember how big of a star Goldie was back in her day.

You know a movie I'd pay to see the remake of: Jennifer Lawrence in Private Benjamin

I liked the first two books, and found the third book to be a painful mess except for the
    assault on the capitol
    .

The other 80% of the book seemed like the author ran out of ideas - I have no idea how they can make two movies out of Mockingjay.

I guess I hope they rewrite it a bit, extend the 20% into most of the second movie, and I can just blow off the 3rd movie altogether and just see the 4th...

2nd movie was good. Then again, so was the book.

Never read the books and just got around to watching the first one on Netflix a few days ago. I really like it so looking forward to this one.

I've never read the books and I really liked it. Lots of people won't like how this film ends, but I actually liked it very much. I liked this one more than the first one, though I would say the action sequences were not great this time.

The film was fine, but I found myself pretty bored throughout

Just got home from seeing it in IMAX.

I liked it. Once again, it was a great adaptation in that nothing important was left out and the differences weren't significant.

This one felt different from the first, and that was by design. THG was meant to feel more personal and Francis Lawrence was focused more on world bending.

I don't have too much else to say. I'm mainly just happy that these have been well done films so far. They are loaded with talented actors and have done a good job of telling the story. I also think they're handling the love angle well.

Good job, F Lawrence. I doubted you, but you proved me wrong.

    Settle down.

I actually remember Goldie from her younger days, so I can feel free to differ with you.

Never read the books but I thought the movie was awesome. Better than the first one, which I thought was also good.
