Lazy. Not ALL, but as a group, percentage wise, yes.

Laziness starts early in life and becomes part of you. Once the kids become lazy in their teens, it becomes very difficult to become non lazy adults.

    Start with grade school.

Please compare blacks or Hispanics in the US to Denmark.

Or, compare blacks or Hispanics to whites or Asians in the US.

I haven't seen any studies at all that record the laziness of any of the groups you've mentioned. If you've found those studies please share them.

What I do like is that in a thread about a study that shows Denmark is the happiest country, people from the United States and perhaps other places were very easy to make unhappy. Maybe that's why the people in Denmark are happier. All you have to do upset a significant group of people in the U.S. is point to a study that shows they aren't they aren't the happiest.

Have you seen high school graduation rates based on race or countries?

Yes, I have. That isn't a study of laziness.

I'd certainly say that a country that's has less people than the Houston metro area should qualify as small. Besides, it's the homogeneity which is more important than the small part. I mentioned Japan as an example of a homogeneous country, and they have a large population. Same thing - an incredible collective mindset which surpasses the Europeans, but at the same time god the Japs can be totally racist assholes.

Then there you go, though, Idk if it's thorough enough. Canada's got lots of Asians. I'm not if you can call them real Canadians.

Start with a lot smaller than 330,000,000 as a starting point.

Has this really gone to 6 pages and over one hundred replies? Seriously? It's Denmark, people. You should go there sometime. They have some good nightclubs, and some very good looking females. My significant other says the guys aren't bad, either.

    What's the fuss?

Lol. It's a simple question. Why can't you give me a number so I can validate for myself since you haven't provided any proof of your claim? Please provide a number and also let us know what you mean by needs.

I really would like to know how homogeneity plays part on this. Would you be kind enough to point me to a study that shows this? Thanks.

I am mystified that you cannot see how a population a fraction the size of the US that is culturally the same would be easier governmentally to address the issues that are important to them. Mystified.

    A study? Seriously?

What part do you dispute? That small groups have a better time reaching a consensus than large groups? That groups which have values or something in common have a better time reaching a consensus than complete strangers? That small, isolated groups are generally distrusting of "outsiders"?

I agree with everything you said here. What that has to do with being able to create legislation to affect the lively hood of a whole nation? If you are merely stating that it is difficult if you are not homogenous, I can somehow agree with you. But if the statement is, it is impossible, then that requires some data don't you agree?

Reason why I asked for 'needs' because I can use Japan (126M). They a universal health care system that appears to be working as an example and you can come back and state another reason why it can't work here.

What percentage of their population is more than 150% over their ideal weight?
What percentage of their population does not finish high school?
What percentage of their population does not work (excluding retired population)?

Scandinavian women are some of the most beautiful in the world, case in point.

On another note though, I've always wanted to visit Denmark. My last name is Danish, so I think It'd be interesting checking out the place where my Nordic forefathers hailed from.

TIL that Denmark is the Disneyland of the world.
