Any kind of smoking significantly cuts down on lung capacity and maz O2. If he did smoke weed it was irresponsible for that reason only,

I don't see the Bulls being big factors in free agency unless it's a second tier star, because Miami, NY, and LA are the preferred destinations. They need to reload through the draft, but how many bad teams will trade their 2014 pick, especially if it's unprotected? I can only think of one Bull worth that, Noah. And it would take some pretty ruthless (and reckless) moves for the Bulls to tank. They'd have to gut their team.

    damn this sucks...

Well, the should start tanking... and they should amnesty someone... the need the pick this year to be 1-6. They can get Marcus Smart.

Knowing our luck, I will be watching tonight's game with a sense of premonition.

I think it's actually the opposite, logically. Advancements in those two fields allow players to play harder and faster (though not necessarily more recklessly) in their sports.

You're more likely to drive into the paint and engage in contact if you're wearing kneepads or any sort of padding, really. You would think the extra gear offers more protection, so you bang into people more often, creating the potential for more injury.

So I guess MVP stands for Most Valuable Patient?

All kidding aside, I wish D Rose nothing but the best. Hopefully he didn't tear anything, but it really didn't look good. Shocked how a lot of people seem giddy over this news as if they've already forgotten just how miserable it was seeing Yao and T-Mac cut down in their primes. Rose is a star in the league and a tremendously hard worker, so for him to go down so soon after his return is gut wrenching.

Trailblazers arena must be cursed with knee injuries...Bill Walton, Dikembe Mutombo, Steve Nash (recently), Brandon Roy, D.Rose

I hope in the future Rose is not talked in the same vein as Brandon Roy, Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, Oden, Yao, T-Mac and all those "What could have been players?"...hope he returns to form...
