Really, given McHale's line ups and minutes allocation this season, I wouldn't be shocked if he ran Harden for 48 minutes tonight and played Lin 5 or 45 minutes.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Dwight requested Lin practice more plays with him, but the black shirt may not mean he starts. He may come in early. I think Lin will play his normal 28-32 minutes unless he's really hot where he may play more.

 

Talk about JH and Martin, both play questionable defense. But Martin never go ISO Mode, he goes with the flow, thus is more helpful to his team efficiency-wise.

I think we either get a huge lead or get in a huge deficit, and come back or they come back....but still win.

I expect Adelman to outcoach McHale, but we get some favorable calls. We gotta get K-Mart outta the game. Brewer better not harass him.

I do not have stats with me. Just from eye test of his games. Martin is not a volume shooter, doesn't take highly contested shots, or try doing too much to so called 'create', hence his % i believe is good, and with referee blowing whistle to his advantage these days, his numbers of free throw trips are up. it is like back to the days when we have him in the first one or two season. A border line star, a highly efficient player.

Of course, JH's talent is rare. love to have him on the team and he is worthy of a max contract. But $ to $, cannot deny, Martin is ahead.

 

Games are too unpredictable now since we don't know about the rotations and minutes the players will play.

 

What does black have anything to do with starting? Curious

 

Martin is having a good season because he is in a system that he is very comfortable in with Aldeman and he is playing second and even third fiddle to Love and Pekovic. He is no way your first star or even your second as we have tried and seen in Houston. He is a nice player to have when you have dominate players around him aka Durant or Love. He tends to disappear in the 4th quarter and almost refuses to shoot if he is somewhat covered but the game is on the line. We all know Harden's unique talents. This year he looks to have been making some bad decisions but I think we all forget that he is only 24 years old. He is still maturing and while I would love to see more effort on defense and more aggressiveness instead of isoing for a contested 3 wishes the game is on the line, he needs to work out his game and decision making and that can only be done in these types of moments.

 

Lets see if harden can stop oold martin lol

 

Or against teams with good coaches. I wonder why?

 

The answer is unlikely. For all he know Harden can still be injured
