Why the Hell does Oprah get a Presidential Medal of Freedom??

I can't stand Oprah.

But the real question is why do right wingers look for a chance to try and pretend Obama favors blacks, while at the same time trying to go out of their way to pretend he isn't black?

Why are right wingers so focused on race when it comes to this president. Obama has talked about race less than any Democratic president in recent history?

You missed the point. I didn't say those folks got medals because they were black. I was making a separate point about how Oprah has devolved into a race baiter. Her two examples recently were the incident in Switzerland (where the clerk was exonerated and Oprah had to sheepishly apologize) and then the shameful interview with the British press.

The multiple studies are not anecdotal evidence, nor is it hyperbole. When you have some type of rational refutation of those studies be sure to post it. Otherwise you're spouting words with nothing to back it.
