Isn't there some caveat where the item has to be in stock at that price? Given most of these items will only be in stock for about 15 minutes after doors open, I'm not sure it would work.
No, unless it's changed from last year to this year. Last year I helped a family member get a tv. We bought it on Amazon for about $700 and got 5% back. Then on Black Friday it was sold by someone else (maybe Best Buy or Sears) for $350. Submitted a ticket to file a claim, and a couple of months later they recieved a check for the difference from Discover, $350. I don't know if the item was in stock or not, we never checked, but had no problems with it. You can call 1-800-DISCOVER if you want to verify anything. Edit: Here's some info from the website: Proving a Loss Submit the following documentation by the Claim Submission Deadline: •Completed and signed claim form. •The Discover card statement showing the entire original purchase price. •The sales receipt indicating the date, the store, the item and the amount of purchase •Either a copy of the dated, printed, lower-price ad, or a statement, signed by the store manager on store stationery, documenting the details of the lower price of the identical item.
they cheat too.. they dont even stay in the tents ... a few of them did this at my local best buy last year.. they just set up tent.. went home and slept .. went to work and after work they show up for a few hours to talk with the news crew then they just leave.. LAME!!!
they did, something like 20-30% off all items, not sure this year because their website is now ran by Fanatics and the team store is now Adidas exclusive apparel
Sams is having a VIP sale for Plus and Business memberships from 7-9 PM tonight (in 30 minutes). Pretty good TV deals. http://www.samsclub.com/sams/html/mobile/vip.html
We went to the sale. Didn't care about any TV's though. The line was long but even when we were checking out they still had the 50" LED TV's in stock. Guess nobody really wanted that brand. We went just because and possibly to get the Rubbermaid containers and the weather station that they were advertising. We were able to get 3 weather stations (had 3 people in our group) but only 1 box of containers (got the last one). Some people were crazy. Grabbing everything and then giving it away to others because they didn't want it. Just a bunch of idiots. I actually want some things from the Wal-Mart BF but now after seeing this I am kind of scared. This wasn't even a BF sale.
I'm having a tough time looking for a laptop under $500 that has a optical drive. For some reason my sister must be able to use CDs on her laptop. Any suggestions?
