    I'll give you an example.

I lived in the Republic of Panama for 4 years......I visited some museums, acquired some indigenous artifacts, sampled some of their food and even made friends with a few....HOWEVER I'm not going to sit here and seriously suggest that I have "studied" their culture(s) just because I happened to live in the same country with them. That would be dishonest.....it is important that people recognize the difference between visiting a place and actually understanding and appreciating what is going on there.

Where were you living? A military base? An oilfield? I'd say that immersing yourself into the culture of another country for four years should qualify you to speak about it.

I was on the base for the last 4 years the U.S. controlled it.

Immersion is on thing...simply visiting or living somewhere is quite another. Bigtexxx said nothing about "immersion", he mentioned museums (lol)

Also...I wasn't really exposed to the indigenous cultures as much as I was the "mainstream" culture.

go to any website click an article and involving rg3, and look at the racist comments flow, especially on yahoo articles. Again i ask what has rg3 done to be hated like he is, by the public( what crimes has he commited).. the caucasian media will have you believe that tom brady and drew brees are upstanding citizens( when they arent)... Brady had a child out of wedlock, and brees a multi-million dollar athlete wouldnt even help his mom with money when she was about to lose her house( because she had a black boyfriend). Brees mom ended up killing herself, why does the media cover for certain race of athletes. Just recently freddie roach threw out racial slurs, and espn never once mentioned that( they said their was a brawl), but they shieided Roach from being called out like the racist he is... if mayweather sr, or virgil hunter said what roach said, you can bet they would have included that on espn

You seriously need an intervention. You have so much hate in your heart. You're obsessed with race.

Yes White QB's always get a pass from the media for their poor play.

I don't know where all this RGIII hate is coming from. I admit I don't follow football 24/7 but I am not aware of him being universally reviled. Tony Romo and Mark Sanchez have been ripped far worse in recent years than I RGIII. As far as racist comments on Yahoo I can believe it. NEWSFLASH comment sections are populated by idiots and trolls (you don't need to go far to see that).

From what I recall Brady was criticized for having a child out of wedlock, then again from what I gather a lot of pro-athletes have kids out of wedlock. Did you criticize Shawn Kemp for all of the kids that he had?

Regarding the Drew Brees accusations can you provide a link to that his mother killed herself because he wouldn't give her money since she had a black boyfriend?

What I remember happened was that his relationship with her fell apart years before and that he was upset she was using his image for marketing purposes and in a campaign for a judgeship in Texas.

I don't deny racism still exist in this society or that it doesn't have severe consequences on a lot of people that said I hardly find the rarefied world of pro-sports as a good example of it.

Yea because Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco are really living up to those huge contracts they signed in the off-season smh... yea they are getting a pass, Schaub's has been terrible... the only reason why he is getting press is because it was a running joke on twitter at how many pick 6's he was throwing. If not for pick 6's, Schaub wouldnt have been creamed by anybody except from the fans in houston. The only other qb that you could argue gets attacked is Tony Romo, but at the same time he has been in a league for a LONG time, Rg3, Cam, and these other qb's have been in the NFL less than 3 seasons. Where is the critism of Tannahill, Dalton, Stafford when they play bad.. come on i cant believe you cant see this
