He is probably right but is not helping his case with the coaches. Surely someone else has complaints to lodge against Kubiak. This is not going to end well.

Kubiak was gone the second he sent Schaub into the game last week. Just a really stupid desicion on his part.
I'd like to think he was gone before that, but McNair needs to be tested for senility if he doesn't clean house.
I don't understand why everyone is so sure that Kubiak is gone after this season. The guy has been one of the worst coaches for the past 7 years and Bob didn't do anything about it, we all know that Bob is cheap b*stard and I think he is going to give Kubiak another year, The guy has proven that he just about money and doesn't give a **** about winning.
Because we were improving. With the exception of 2010, we improved every year. We saw the flaws, but there was really only one other time when it was really an option (6-10 in 2010). Did he really deserve to be fired after taking a 2-14 team to 6-10 and then to the first non losing seasons in franchise history? After our first winning season ever? After seasons of 10 and 12 wins and our first division championships and playoff appearances? I really don't think Kubiak is THAT bad of a coach. He's certainly flawed, but so are a lot of coaches. We're just more familiar with Kubiak's flaws because we see them week after week, year after year. I don't think he's bad, certainly not the worst, and in the right situation he can be pretty good. But his ceiling seems to be simply an "average to maybe slightly above average" coach who will make the playoffs occasionally but not consistently and will likely never win a Super Bowl. And his time here has run it's course. He's done all he can do here, which just isn't enough. That's what I think this season proves and why he's definitely gone. Not really sure what money has to do with firing Kubiak. He (and most of the coaching staff) only has 1 year remaining. So did Capers when he got fired. If it was all about the money, Bob wouldn't have even given Kubes the extensions when he gave them. He wouldn't have ponied up to extend Schaub before it clear whether he'd really recovered from the lisfranc injury or Cushing before he could demonstrate he could stay healthy. He wouldn't have fired Frank Bush and then made Wade the highest paid DC in the NFL. McNair's reluctance to make changes doesn't stem from being cheap. It stems from loyalty. It stems from a belief in people and giving them the chance to succeed. That success isn't always a straight path and that people need some slack to work with. It stems from a belief that consistency is a huge factor in success and making changes every time something goes wrong does more harm than good. That's not necessarily a bad philosophy, though we can take issue with how far he takes it. We can only hope that he learns from his experiences and adjusts his philosophy accordingly.
YES it's all about the money. That goes hand in hand with having a winning football team, with Kubiak at the helm this year we do no thave a winning team. He's GONE after this season. I would put money on it if I could.
