You seem to be at least slightly sarcastic with your commentary, but I am still dubious about your underlying premise of political doomsday caused by the Republicans.
Obama is bad..but no different than other presidents who promised change and then did little to effect positive change....Wash DC is a corrupt **** hole. hth
More importantly, what is the GOP doing about its approval ratings? The way things stand, if Obama was eligible to run for a third term, he would get elected for the third straight time. *tsk tsk*
Incredibly sad statement, but true. The GOP should be in a very strong position. Instead, they are a tall pile of rubbish.
me too When his presidency is finished, I seriously believe he will be in contention for the absolute worst president this country has ever had. He's easily worse than W.
Dow over 16,000 -- unemployment about to be under 7% -- expect a steady increase in his AR then a big bounce after the 2014 elections.
Some members in this forum may agree with you due to their youth and/or ignorance of US history and politics. However, when asked to expound on their short and demagogic posts, they fall silent. [I'm reposting this. You may have overlooked it previously.] There are 44 presidents in our very young country's history. Who are the best presidents of all time in your opinion, and why? Other than Obama, who else do you dislike and why?
A war killing thousands on both sides on a false premise is worse than a ****ing health care mandate. Go **** yourself.
I am not so sure about that. Obama is a divider, its how he gets his support. We have one of the most divided congress in history and their decisions, or lack of, are catching up to him. I do not see Obama coming forth and bringing unity. The healthcare debacle isn't going away, and the more he tries to patch it, the worst its going to get. Bush had the quagmire of Iraq and Afghanistan the last couple years of his presidency. Obama has had it pretty easy the last 3-4 years and right now he's sitting on ratings as low as Bush. Bush used 9/11 to rally support and Obama used Hope and Change. Americans are growing weary of its politicians more than ever.
Except one was optional and the other wasn't. And dont bring up the other side of the war...they would be killing each other just as much, if not more.
Now it was Bushes fault because he (Obama)was black? Nice one. I think you officially have lost all cred.
I really find this "healthcare debacle thing will only get worse" thing total bull****. So what happens when the website gets fixed(it will eventually happen) and people forget about their initial anger of their old coverage being dropped for more comprehensive coverage? I'll laugh my ass off when in 5 years the ACA is considered a great success and conservatives get all butt hurt they didn't think of it first.... WAIT THEY ACTUALLY DID LOLOLOLOLOLOL:grin:
